    I had no 3d printing experience before buying this printer. I opened the box, went through all the steps in this video and have had zero issues. I gladly support veteran owned US based companies and have zero issues paying for quality and solid customer service.

    This looks amazing. Ordered and excited to get prusa quality from a veteran owned American company!
    And for those complaining about the price, well ive had enders, friwnds with P1Ps, and and theyve all had problems. Something out the box that prints is awesome. Plus i still like open source bed slingers

    Just got mine a few days ago. The build quality of this printer is top notch. Parts and build quality is were the money goes. The 3d printed parts quality used are well above the ones you find on a Prusa. I already put it trough the ringer with my own speed tests and profiles. 250mm/s is no problem for the 1:1 gear ratio and copperhead hotend. Printed a wuxn cube in 26 min without input shaping and it looks not even bad. I had to slice my own wuxn cube as the provided sample is not a representation what the printer can actually do at normal speeds. The print quality is way better than the sample after adjusting a few settings using prusa slicer. Looking forward to the Quake firmware update which probably puts it ahead of Bambulab and Prusa.

    That's a well built printer with quality branded parts. Shows where the money went. Only gripe would be the rollers running on t-slots and not v-slots.

    I think that this is a big deal for the US domestic 3D print industry. Sure, the price may be high, but look at what you are getting for $849! Everything with this printer is top notch and if you compare this directly to a Prusa MK4, you are saving some coin to get the same if not better quality on a fully assembled printer. Sure, you could get a Bambu P1S w/AMS but not everyone wants that printer and there is something about an open source QUALITY 3d printer.

  • @Oc3anMaster
    @Oc3anMaster 7 місяців тому +3

    I like the idea of American made because we need to have something domestic rather than all majority brands coming internationally, support being a main issue and concern for most, but that price point is a lot for me compared to what you can get else where.

    IF you're based in US, feel patriotic and can spare that amount of cash for heavily modified Prusa Bear upgrade with chinese parts, that's fine. But if you're not in US and 3D printing is more than a hobby you could easily grab three Core XY Qidi Tech X-Plus II's within a week. On the top of that it has a Linux discriminating slicer, another big No in my books. I really appreciate the amount of work that's gone into this printer package and fair play to the developers but with the steep competition in this market and cheaper offerings with similar print quality and ease of use, the tagline "Made in USA" (or more precisely, partially made in USA) will hardly appeal to the regular hobbyists to open their wallets, especially the ones outside the US.
