That is why I never wanted a job that would be intelectual even though people look at it as prestigious.. I always felt I could never be my true self when I'm in those types of environments... Still I ended up being a teacher xD but I love words.. and the creative side of it... Before I watched your content, I had visualised myself from the outside and my job seamed like giving tools to be used, but they are just that. Pieces, boxes of info that connect with all the other info. Being caught up in thinking that is the most valued and precious thing we are as humans is the biggest flaw of our current education system
Thank you for sharing that mindfulness is the wrong translation of “sati” as used by the Buddha. We are better served by having it mean “introspection” if it’s is access to the tranquility of the right hemisphere that we’re after. Being mindful encourages us, for example to be aware of (for example) what we’re eating, thinking etc - it is object oriented, looking outwards. Introspection is simply looking inwards to notice what we notice. If we notice a sensation within, staying with it will elicit a feeling - hopefully a nice one. Staying with that will cause it to strengthen gently, eventually into tranquility or bliss. No thinking involved 😊
have the workbook coming out soon and will do a number of videos on it....and so cool you would mention the hard problem....have a number of new video ideas on that.....coming up soon...thanks!
