  • The name Aeolian Harp is derived from the Greek God of Wind, Aeolus. The sound it makes is generated from the wind blowing across the strings. It creates a very soft sound, almost inaudible beyond ten feet away. Each string sympathetically vibrates adjacent strings, creating a wide variety of harmonic sounds. The proposed piece will be made from clay and bamboo with harp strings.
