I really wanted to like Battle Axe, but they tried to emulate an arcade game without actually having any kind of 'continue' option! I did pick up CVS2 a year or so ago, definitely one of my favorites! also been a hot minute since I got anything for SFC may have to find something to add to the collection!
I'm looking around on GMaps seeing where there are book and hard offs near where I'm planning to visit when I come over to Japan and from what I've seen of your videos I guess it's probably more worthwhile to check out the various "Offs" outside of the city centers. If you want to know a thing or two about 3DS games; Dragon Ball FighterZ wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Extreme Butoden on the 3DS...and that's about all I know about fighting games
I think you’ll dig Battle Axe, Jim! I bought a copy at the London Gaming Market for £15 (¥2,400?) last weekend. No ‘continue’ option makes it a little unforgiving, but the game itself feels like a mashup of Zombies Ate My Neighbours and Gauntlet - some good arcade fun, especially in co-op!
Siick another vid. Hey where do you get those video game/ sf background music tracks? Are they royalty free provided on youtube, or you make the beats?
A lot of stuff can be found on Soundcloud and here on UA-cam. If I can only find something on YT, music from a video game OST for example, I use a file converter to get it as an mp3.
Hey Jim would you happen to know the going rate for a CIB super famicom or dreamcast? going to be in japan for 3 weeks this may tokyo/kyoto/osaka/hiroshima and definitely want to pack my suitcase with some cheap games and consoles!
Video does not start till 10:33 you are welcome. The switch is crap so is Playstation I would rather see more nintendo 64 content over the dumb switch or playstation.
Im starting to believe n64 people don't really like video games. A 400 title deep library with mostly garbage games while other successful Nintendo consoles had libraries of mostly good games.
Amazed at how these 30+ year old retros are preserved.
8:00 The game is "The Quintessential Quintuplets." It's also based on an anime, which it itself is based on a PC visual Novel.
I just went to a Book Off Super Bazaar today it was pretty awesome! I also went to the greatest t-shirt store ever created called Hardcore Chocolate!
Nice! I love HCC, I have a few of their shirts as well. I love their designs.
Honestly one of my best past times just watching your videos, thank you for all you do ✊🏾✊🏾
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!
I have been in this book off, mentioned it in comments in one if your previous videos, got some good scores in there
Will do. Thanks for watching!

I've heard mixed things about Battle Axe, it certainly looks cool. Might wait for a better deal on it, maybe when it's down to the $30 range
Cosmo Gang the Puzzle got a facelift, and released in the US as Pac-Attack, even the music is not the same between both games.
Had no idea. Thanks!
@@MadPanicGaming No problem.
Love these Book Off videos.
They love you too
Always in the mood to see Jim in action. Keep it up bro. 8^)
Anthony..
That 3DS selection is beautiful. Like 10x the amount of games you’ll see in any video game store in the states these days
cool hunt
Love 'em!
Are the “OFFS” your favorite game stores? Do you ever go to Suruguya? What do you think of those stores?
Hard Off is my go to place for deals, buying in bulk for my patrons, but I do frequent Surugaya quite a lot
Great to see PS Vita games. They are so rare in the wilds. Thanks for Tokyo tour!
I didn’t know that there were any Famicom games that had hard shell plastic cases; that’s really cool!
Most of the namco and a few taito games had the hard plastic cases
@@famicom_collecting OK, thanks!
That’s the one I visited in November !!! Found it by accident looking out the window sitting in kfc

Yeah, if you can head out to a more remote area, you'll probably get better deals
Lot of great games on DS systems

I know, some games that have been out for years are still high priced.

Are those Switch games all refurbished?
Don't think so

CIB would usually be anywhere from $60 to $120 depending on the condition and who's selling it.
I would have taken kirby for 4500.

oh sorry didnt realize he made these videos specifically for you the rest of us will just go fuck off i guess
