Nice content Leyvi! A good addition in my opinion would be to bring a escape set (just a two bladed staff and hunter shoes basically) and teach us how to use it when you got a lot of silver in your bag when coming back to city and don't want to risk losing it.
Leyvi, I've watched alot of your videos and always found them super helpful, but this one is so incredible. This is super helpful for somebody like myself who dreads the BZ because it's never ended well for me there & I'm sure others will find this just as useful! Love this sort of content - keep it coming!
@@LeyviAniki Yeah that's poor wording on my part - sorry! Honestly though keep the content coming - Lands Awakened has brought in so many new players as well as returning players like myself & this really makes the BZ not seem as scary as people may perceive it too be.
@@LeyviAniki i am a beginner and i would like to know, at what point should i start red and black zone. T6 reaver level, 5.1 bloodletter, t5 armours..and very very poor. Like 100k
Thank you so much Leyvi. I'm playing from SE Asia where pings are really high, it's impossible to react fast enough and always die from lag. Seeing the game and BZ through your runs, helps learning the landscape, being prepared and also thank you for all the great tips! More of these please

10:48 I am not sure if you know this but guardian helmet *cleanses damage over time effects* this includes curse stacks. if you are fighting a 1 handed cursed staff, you should use your guardian helmet right before the e pops (check the skull debuff in the top left) even if you mistime it you will at least drop 2 stacks (at most the enemy can Q auto if you are a little too early) and that is already more worth it than using shield below 40% (you start the cooldown back faster, the entire shield is utilized fully, you negate at least 500 extra damage) Maybe you know this and was just panicking but maybe this is new information for you 13:28 high risk high reward technique to solo bosses is to use your mount health to tank damage to wait out cooldowns (also you had roast pork) if you knew this then I guess you found the risk of having a mount at low health to not be worth the crystal spider (which you would have been correct)
Great tip on the mount! Didn't think of that in the moment. As for my decision making in 10:48 a copy pasta: It's an option, but I figured since he already cast his E whilst I was mounted, the stacks would disappear shortly and he can't 100-0 me in one combo. I'll go back to full health since I'll life steal with my E+R combo after I dismount anyway so I'm better off saving guardian helmet if it turns into an extended fight
Really liked the video. It inspired me to go on roams myself. It also showed where i was being less efficient. I'm still quite new, but brought back my biggest loot so far and i'm really pleased with getting more comfortable deeper in the black zones with better gear as well, now that i die mush less often (thanks to your videos!)
This is so helpful and insightful. I just had my first few runs in the outlands a few days ago and I wish I knew some of these things before I went. Keep it up!
I'll join the others in saying how much I liked what you did here. You explain your reasoning for your actions, and mistakes you made which is far more instructional than watching 50 clips of PvP battles! Please continue to explain what you're doing and why. I may soon find myself wandering the black zones!
bro this was a pretty good video i was entertaint and i learned many new things thanks to you! im always scared to go to the bz but i will try it out now
Nice to hear Crypticx! If I can give an additional piece of advice, start off with cheap sets. Buy 10 sets that are 100k each and start practicing with those
i think is a very nice video since you are teaching players to do a lot of open world not only helping the other players but making albion be more competitive open world game. its really nice seeing death in blackzone making it a very active unlike last season a lot of people roaming around
I love this series. Since I also want to do this. But I can't since I'm on Mobile and Bz roaming with terrible fps and ping is very frustrating. These are very informative.
Very nice albion video. I seldom traverse the bz solo but when i do i usually try to go minimal and hit a quota before returning in breaks. Usually 500k to 1 m.
5 mins in and i already learned something thats good. If theres a blob of players odds are theirs others spread out. And tbh as im writing this it almost seems like kinda common sense but i didnt even think of it theyll could either be scouts or just other randoms avoiding the group too
That was fun to watch. That 7.3 ore was worth 1million by itself. I would really like to know more about pvp mechanics. Today I found out the hard way when you dismount yourself you have a 5sec cooldown on everything :D
Its an exciting trip, and pretty fun to watch someone else do this. You're not wrong about the numerous mistakes though, that makes me feel frustrated and scared fer ya. Sometimes those little treasures aren't even worth picking up, and you would've been missing some good loot due to the silly 1k~5k items... The chest and ore nodes were pure luck!! Wish we all have that luck to go around haha... Also very important to buy a bank page in places that you go to frequently, so you can deposit under emergency, that's for sure!! Also highly recommend newer players to never take risks like trying to contest a chest when carrying millions of goods. Just go deposit, or go home. Lastly... remember that it's not yours until you bring it home.
10:47 Could you not have used your guardian helmet here to cleanse the curse stacks and not take nearly as much damage? Or does the emergency shield at 40% health provide more HP than the HP u save by cleansing stacks?
It's an option, but I figured since he already cast his E whilst I was mounted, the stacks would disappear shortly and he can't 100-0 me in one combo. If you could explain your mindset when selecting builds and why tou choose what you choose that would be pretty valuable.. you do a pretty good job at that part already tho
Since you're playing 1h dagger: do you recommend picking it up? I've really only used Bloodletter (gathering mobility) and Deathgivers (PvE open world fighting and Faction fights). Would 1h dagger or maybe dagger pair be best to learn next? I'm not big on ganking as primarily a gatherer but will take opportunistic fights.
Everyone should have some 1H spec. You’ll need it for a few different things to make life easy. Also need dagger set for the one HCE boss so definitely good thing to familiarize with
I would recommend getting some spec on everything in the dagger tree, not only to get high IP on your main weapon but to be able to do any content you want (bloodletter is a one size fits all but usually only required for one per party) deathgivers and bloodletter is good for solo content, 1h dagger is good for solo pve, especially bosses that are difficult (eg spider, group dungeon bosses, some aspects), claws are good for ganking, if you aren't keen on ganking you can simply not spec it but because it is one of the 3 basic daggers (non artifact) I recommend getting decent spec in it at least (maybe 50) as every level on it gives 0.2 IP to every dagger which is a lot compared to artifacts (0.1 IP per level). Dual daggers is good for solo PvP in 1v1 scenarios, more if you're high IP and know what you're doing, again, a relatively meh weapon with a narrow usage but it is useful to spec up at least so you can get IP on the entire tree since it is a basic weapon. Demonfang has shown itself to be a very effective bruiser in small scale pvp and bridled fury is the only weapon other than bloodletter viable in zvz. If you're a beginner, just spec up what you use for now and slowly spec up the entire tree, mainly focussing on the things you use. If I had to recommend between 1 handed and dagger pair, I would pick 1 handed as it is very versatile for solo content, not nearly as much as bloodletter, but it fills the gap in the dagger tree for high level solo pve. Take your time though, and don't be overwhelmed by my comment.
As you go about playing Albion you'll find you've been leveling a lot of different things over time. I leveled the one handed dagger when it was used to solo group dungeons and after the changes it remained a good weapon for more challenging PvE scenarios among the other points it excels in. I think it's a great weapon if you want to do that type of content but do keep in mind that weapons get buffed, nerfed and changed all the time in Albion. Bloodletter would still be fine for all the content I did in this video and so would many other weapons, it's just that the one handed dagger makes evolved mobs very easy
As a solo player returning after a year I need this kind of info. How to fight, evade and such. My hopes is to find a guild, but so far no active guild is taking me serious.
It really emphasizes that players, especially solos, should put in the work for gathering. Being locked out of chests most of the time sucks, but picking up free silver is always a nice way to compensate.
@@sebasocampo9652 well, it depends on where your home city is, really. Also, hides from creatures is the most dangerous, since you're fighting and dismounted. I haven't tried fishing, so I cant comment on that.
May as well call me Han Solo because this is exactly what I do all the time. It’s high risk but damn is it high reward. Ganking is difficult to do solo but you can pull off some great kills with the right build and when you find enchanted nodes and chests…it’s ALL YOURS. Thanks leyvi keep up the good work!

Newish player here, last few days I've been solo bz t7 dungeons and world mobs, really enjoying it, I head home after about 300k, I have made about 2 mill in the last couple days and really happy with that. I want to put together a t4 set of "escape" gear I can wear when making the trip home so that if I do get dismounted or get jumped i'm not guaranteed dead, any recommendations? Would love to know like the optimal combo for what to use and when after being dismounted. Cheers!
It always turns out nasty when casual players encounters a hardcore player who spends lot of time learning the mechanic and practicing them.
waow it really motivates me to play
good gameplay guide
