Silver & Cigar you our speaking Truth, my precious mother in law pass away couple weeks ago. Thank God that I had plenty of Silver to sale to my local LCS shop. My local coin dealer had only checks to pay for my precious metals it was nice big check. Right away they ask me why does the check say Precious Metals & they ask me if, I want to leave the money in the savings account. I told them straight out NO, I needed to cash out the check ASAP. Right away they ask me why, I needed the money wasn’t in the mode to answer there question. But basically told them to pay my precious mother in law funeral & expensive. They stood quiet & no more question & all they could say Sorry for the Loss. Its sad that they ask all this questions like is there hard working money they our messing with our lively hoods.

Ask the bank why they are not offering you trust services so you can get in on the turning cash into extended credit getting YOU paid interest at high levels. 😁

I always like to flip the script on some desk jockeys. Like when the teller counts out my money, I count it back in front of them, might hold the 50 up to the light to confirm its real. Or the doctors receptionist asks if I am still on Blue Cross insurance I say yes, and she wants to see my card, and then ask if the doctor is still covered by malpractice insurance and can I see a copy. "Sorry its just standard practice and I am required to do it. Have a nice day !"

Banks are scum. I have a teller who asked me if I was going on vacation while making a withdrawal. I made her repeat the question ... what did you just say? Going on vacation? I then promptly told her that it was none of her business what I was doing. She tried to play it off as if she was just making small talk ... but it's not. They're taking names and making calls. Now she knows to keep her mouth shut when I go in there.

I went to the bank a couple of months ago to withdraw $2k. The woman teller thought she would be cute and question me indirectly by asking if I was using the money for home remodeling. The idiot could see that I live in an apartment so why would I take out money to remodel someone else's place? I pushed back and asked her if she always questions people over such small withdrawals and she said it's a "best practice" to ask. Well guess what? My best practice was to close out my checking, savings, and money market with them. Oops! Guess you can say her best practice backfired.

I had a problem with a bank questioning me.
The bank is Frontwave credit union.
It was formerly pacific marine credit union and I really loved the bank when it was pacific.
All the sudden out of nowhere they change from this colorful nice bank drastically to a bold black and white logo that sounds kinda concentration camp.
Of corse they sent a letter stating their change and specifically stated that it would be the same old as it always was and “Nothing was going to change”
The next week , everyone at the bank was fired and I saw one of the main bankers the next town over at one of my other banks.
I had money that I wanted to exchange for smaller bills and the 20 year old daddy’s little girl that was now running the bank asked me where I got my money from !!
I quit banking there faster than the other bankers that got fired were dumped without any knowledge or anything.

Its true the banks ARE insolvent...in October I went to my bank of many years to withdraw a few thousand from my account and the manager questioned me if I had called ahead to make an appointment essentially and she explained its because they dont always have enpugh money on hand and in certain denominations. My suggestion to everyone is diversify your money and holdings into Gold and Silver. Always have $500 cash or more at home along with accounts at more than one bank. They also asked me for what I needed it for.

I had a similar issue cashing a small check, around a hundred bucks, at a BOA, on the day before Xmas eve, and the teller was claiming computer issues, as their machine that they run the check thru refused to process it. We tried 4 times, and I had to be switched to another teller who already rebooted her terminal, where now I was asked if I was an account holder, and again system refused the check. Then, after the 6th try, I was asked for my ID, and now the teller claimed the issue was I was an out of state customer, and she then typed something in system, and like magic, the small check was cashed...

She suggested I come inside and I said if I do I’m closing my account. I would cash every other one so I would have some cash. Sometimes I go to the main branch and you can’t get what you want. Anything but a payroll check may be subject to a three day hold. Banks and stores that wire money are training their people to look for victims of fraud. The only way they can look for fraud victims is to ask questions. However... it is true when withdrawing large sums of cash your bank may require you call ahead to order it. I had to do that when I needed $15K in cash to pay a toll bill after an accident so that I could collect my personal property from the tow yard while the insurance company and tow yard negotiated the final payout.

If you don’t want to switch banks just because you don’t feel like it, then you get what you get, it’s that simple. And I didn’t actually close my account at the old bank I was at for 30 years, I just have more than one now, and I have no issues at the new one. Not yet anyway. Just remember our tax $$ bailed them out.
How many know about the bail in ?
Many banks passed a rule in the policy that all of the depositors agreed to without knowing much.
What it does is that if the bank goes under, they can use your deposits to bail themselves out.
Not all banks took this into effect, I looked and found a credit union that didn’t and I transferred all my $ there.
    Look into it people.

I know you think your problem is a money issue. It’s not. It’s a privacy issue. The reason the banks do that now is because the government mandated they do so. It is against the 4th amendment for the government to monitor your private banking information. To get around this, they mandated that all financial institutions must now collect all of that data and provide it to the government.
Your issue isn’t with the banks. It’s with the government violating your rights. If you want to fix this problem, you need to start talking to your elected officials and demand they do something about the infringement on your constitutional rights.

First time tuning into your channel. Interesting story. That would annoy me too if the teller asked me what the check is for. If I'm ever asked that same question by a bank teller, I'll respond that I deal with businesses that offer a small discount for using cash over credit cards and leave the discussion at that.

You're going to get a lot of stupid comments from people who sit alone on y-tube on Christmas. They're bitter and looking to take it out on someone - anyone. Welcome to the internet. "You're a grown-up, buy crypto." LOL What a dumb comment.

Right? I think his exact words were you're a grown man, buy crypto. And my favorite, you got your cash why are you complaining.

You may need to rewatch. I got a Christmas bonus check at my company's xmas party. Went to the bank right after. I cashed the bonus check at said bank. The teller gave me the total amount in fifty dollar bills. The title of the video 100% represents the story I told about the teller hassling me about cashing the check. I question your lack of brain cells
