Whilst all “furry” themed videos on this channel are family-friendly and safe to watch for all ages, they are aimed for members of the fandom which qualifies as a general audience, and have therefore been set as “Not made for kids”.

So, I'm not a furry but I think anthromorphic-animal-humans are fascinating, just look at all the Disney movies n stuff. Being a furry and dressing like this is completely fine, these people are not hurting anybody, they're just happy. All the bestualities and the sexual stuff is not okay. Maybe their first fursuit was bought with their parents money when they were a teen but other than that furries have to have a WELL paying job to keep being able to physically participate in events like cons and getting a fursuit, which by the way most furries dont have a fursuit so they just end up going to cons and only having to pay for that.
@vulkanter tf do you mean my answer made no sense all that i said was that most of them did not get their income for fursuits and furry events from their parents and that some people might have had their parents buy their first fursuits when they were a teen but thats a teen you said grown ass adult. and as in the dead parents i mean the adults of the furry fandom which there are quite a few of. Then i went on to say that most furries don't have a fursuit ( usually because their too young ) so they dont even dress ( your words not mine) " like a fucking animal".

Actually, there is one fursuit you forgot to mention. It's called a quadsuit. Its where you're on all fours, and you walk around on all fours. I just wanted to mention this, so please don't hate.
But there are also other forms of suits. There mini partials, and full partials. Heads only, there also poodling, and there's a lot more to suits. I'm not a full professional though.

My time in the furry fandom has been absolutely wonderful. Everyone is very polite and helpful when asking questions and are just, generally fun to talk to! People are so mislead when they hear the word “furry.” They usually think of the sexual side of the fan base. While it does exist, there is to much more to the people in this community than the fetish side.

It depends. There are creeps everywhere. Have you heard of anime? Bronies? Any other fictional character? There's porn of it. And lots of it. It's really easy to find anywhere.
If you dislike furrys then either ignore them or criticize them. Promoting mass shootings and murder is absolutely disgusting and messed up whether it's a joke or not. If you dislike furrys then I'd recommend doing some reasearch, obviously it doesn't make you a bad person for disliking them but dislike them for the right reasons.

not a cat person true, but I know at least one who's a total creep. She showed me her porn. It was pretty creepy, and not just because of the furry stuff. It was downright illegal if it happened irl. Furries get a bad rap, but that's because the scene was intercepted by fetish communities early on. There are still a lot of furries who fetishize the art. I remember not being able to make a decent buck from the community as an artist if I didn't draw porn.

Coming from someone who’s still a furry but isn’t so much in the fandom community anymore, thank you for not bringing up the inappropriate side. Lots of people make it a point to say “there’s a weird side but it’s not what it’s all about.” I can’t think of another fandom that does that (maybe MLP) and it might come off as “if it’s not a big deal why mention it at all?” Idk. That’s just me.

A furry is a person that is a person that has an interest in anthro animals, %90 of the fandom are normal people like you, they have a job, they can pay the rent, they own there own house and they are aware that they are human. But the ten percent of the fandom make there interest into a kink, and ua normal furries are pretty much find there kinks really gross and furries don't like the subject because THOSE kinky furries are the ones that are letting the wrest of us down. All the other furries might, draw furry, fursuit (the equivalent of cosplaying) and are some of the nicest people I know. As an asexual furry the amount of "Oh you mean the sex thing?/You mean bestiality?/Do you "do it" in the suit?" comments I get is disappointing. They act shocked and ask why I participate in this "fetish" when I'm ace and use it as a means of discrediting my orientation. Those people are grossly misinformed, and use it to spread hate. I just like the idea of being a rainbow dragon and having a character I can use to express my personality anonymously. It helps with dealing with my social anxiety and making new friends since I'm neurodivergent and struggle to socialize normally. People really gotta work on the stigma and do the research instead of jumping to conclusions and spreading rumors.

i think its because of how they act, and some people find it disgusting / disturbing / etc. to be a furry, and even worse to own a fur suit / act like youre some type of animal on the internet (OwO, etc.) and some others think youre mentally retarded if youre a furry. but for no reason is just because people find it that other people disgust it, so they hate on it as well so they can fit in
