Good info. You should definitely give them feedback requesting an option to preserve/re-write at least the System Mode upon system reset. They may not have really thought about the hassle for people with their system connected to NTSC-only displays.
@@GRayDefender Yes, most device (routers and such) will make that same recommendation because if they change underlying features in the firmware and one of the values you set is now an invalid value it may have a bad time. With the Ultimate64, I suppose you could always reset with off+RESTORE+MultiButton if some firmware setting left you bricked upon update.

Yeah but you do have the option to say "NO"... but the message also says "Recommended" which leads to you to agree to it... :)
