★ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ★
✰ How old are you? 27
✰ Where are you from? I'm originally from England but moved to Adelaide, Australia when I was 9 years old. I also spent 2 years living in Toronto when I finished high school which is why the accent is a bit all over the place 😅
✰ When did you get married? April 2022
“Be honest, actually don’t because it will hurt my feelings” 🤣 😂 you are so funny
hahaha self aware enough to know I can't handle it 🥲
Hi Ella! Could you do a 'whats on your iPhone' for productivity video? I feel like you're always so organized and I would love to see which apps you use to help you stay organized.
oooh sure! i'll add it to my list 🙂↕️
peak humor haha the best 😂 “kinda giving cool girl 👉”
absolutely love the vlogs!! I live for them🥰
thank you so much!! 🥹❤️
Red looks so good on you!!!!!!
omg stop!! thank you!!
Amsterdam!! So exciting. I’m Dutch and have lived there for the last 15 years so can definitely give some tips! How many days will you be here and what type or recs are you looking for?
ahh how cool!! we'll be there for 3 days! looking for any places to eat/things to do really 🫶🏼
Commenting because I would also love some recommendations for nice places to eat ☺️☺️
@@smileycitrus cool! In terms of things to do, Amsterdam has a few amazing well-known museums around Museumplein (museum square), such as Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. I’d recommend to prebook as they’ll get busy. Afterwards you can explore de Pijp area (east of Museumplein) which is known for having tons of great restaurants, lunch places and cafes. Some of my favorites in that area are: Glouglou and Wijnbar Paulus (both for wine), Wijmpje Beukers and Impero Romano (for dinner) or Bakers & Roasters and Mr. Collins (for brunch). You could also go more west instead and explore the Vondelpark, the biggest park in the city. This one depends on the weather as it can get quite rainy & windy here. :) Around Vondelpark you have Mr. Gyoza and Staring at Jacob for good food and Bocca for coffee.
For the typical Amsterdam experience, I’d recommend walking around the Jordaan and the 9 Straatjes area. Very picturesque and especially if you walk around a bit and take some side streets, you’ll end up avoiding some of the tourists and finding more cute cafes and shops. You’ll have Van Stapele and Het Koekemannetje (for cookies), Wynand Fockick, Flying Dutchmen and Dutch Courage (for cocktails), Donna Sofia, De Klepel and Salmuera (for dinner) and Cafe Chris and in t Aepjen (Dutch brown cafes).
Other personal faves are Box Sociaal and Drovers Dog for brunch, Gollem and De Druif for beer and Sotto and Eatmosfera for pizza. We mostly use Google Maps for finding places to eat & drink!
Some generic tips: look out for bikes as they won’t look out for you. Public transport is quite easy and affordable, but Uber is a thing here too and walking around the city is the best way to see a lot. We don’t really do cash and everyone speaks English. Have fun! And let me know if you need more specific tips for areas/places!
you're the BEST!!! thank you so much for taking the time to recommend some places 🥹
@@smileycitrus you’re welcome! Seeing the city from the water is very nice as well. You have the bigger tourist boats, but if weather allows renting a pedal boat is a lot of fun too.
Ella you're just so effortlessly funny I was cracking up this whole video 😂
hahaha thank you 🙂↕️😘
My husband and I just left Edinburgh- such a beautiful city but quite rainy! Our favourite food places were Ragu and Tipo for Italian, Maki & Ramen for Japanese and Fortuna Coffee Bar for coffee/breakfast
You’re going to have an amazing time!
Oh and in London go to Chill since ‘93 for amazing sandwiches & focaccia
oh thank you so much for the recs! I can't wait 🥰
If you go to Edinburgh make sure you get up into the highlands and out of the city. There are day tours. Its GORGEOUS
ahh I would love to! we'll see if we have time ☺️
U are just 3 years older than me. But I look up to you how you have your life together xx god bless u and your husband and family x

Been so excited for a new vlog!❤
Much love as always Ella!
❤️❤️
It gets me everytime you hang up your washing this way from front to back 😂
Is it an English thing??
If you start at the fence and work your way out you won’t get trapped / be pressed up against wet washing ❤❤❤
haha no 😂 I think it's just habit! Normally I do it with Nick and he'll pass it to me from that way! + it's more enjoyable than facing a fence haha x
All my reading is non fictional. I’m studying so a lot of books related to my study and which I’m enjoying. Once I’m on break I will get into more fiction books. I’ve been reading every night before bed. No electronics after dinner. I also take magnesium sleep tablets and hour before bed which has helped with my sleep.
Love watching your vlogs, you have a lovely personality... watching from Kenya. 😊
thank you so much 🥹
Ross at the tanning booth HAHAHA 😩
the fear was real 😭😂
Ah Edinburgh is my home town ❤ Recommendations: Walks - Stockbridge Sunday market, Calton Hill, Arthurs Seat, Victoria Street, St James Shopping centre/ Harvey Nichols and the Grass Market (mary's milk bar ice cream is top tier). Food - Salt Cafe, The Pantry, Rollo, Mother India's Cafe, Civerinos (Portebello beach is my fave one), Dishoom and Ting Thai. Drinks - Tiger Lilly, Hoot the Redeemer, Johnny Walker, The Spence. Have the best time 💗
thank you so much!! appreciate it 🫶🏼
Iron flames the same. Everyone says it’s sooo hard to get through, but the ending is 👌🏼👌🏼
I feel like Fourth Wing left on SUCH a cliffhanger, I need to read it
Totally with you on the outdoor set! Have you considered a low dining set?
It has a lounge with a dining table. Amart, Harvey Norman and Early settler has them! We’re buying one of them soon.
Also look at The Timberline for floating shelves
we're considering that! will definitely check out The Timberline- thank you! x
Loved all the new sunnies! I personally liked them on you better than your usual style. I feel like they contoured/really suited your facial features. Love watching lifestyle chill vlogs like this. Wishing I could move on from sailing adventure content to more stuff like this although I’m not sure our mostly male audience would vibe too much 😂 how have you found it when you’ve pivoted with your content on UA-cam?
thank you! I agree actually!
It can take some adjusting when you pivot your content but as long as you're prepared for not everyone to vibe with your new stuff, then you'll be fine ☺️ you'll find your new community eventually x
Ella you are a vision! Love your content, keep on being wonderful you
oh you're so sweet! thank you lovely 🥰
