Thanks for uploading this. I was a student of Dummett back in the early 70’s so I am more familiar with his views. I found the discussion very interesting. Dummett was chain smoking as usual. Towards the end of an hour lecture he would get very twitchy as the lack of nicotine started to affect him. He would sometimes try to put a non-existent cigarette in his mouth.

Very glad these are now available free online, it's a shame to hide them away
Had Dummett as a tutor at Oxford in the late 80s. This really brings me back. Thanks for posting.
This is gold! Can't believe the description actually is true!
Thanks for uploading these...Davidson is brilliant
'Thank you to Philosophy International and Richard Fara, who are responsible for this clip.'
Shouldn't that read Rudolf Fara rather than Richard Fara?
I know what's true - that Davidson's opening comments are way, way too long
Dummett must have had a brandy before the conversation.
この2人、お互いに論敵だったけど、一緒にサーフィン行ったりしていたらしい。良いね。
at around 3:45 Davidson's glare is ...kind of scary...lol
I spotted the same, while honestly saying I couldn't believe it would be logically to assume someone was able to feel the same
davidson looks a little like william burroughs...lol
