This is a beautiful 12" by 36" gallery wrapped canvas.. flooded with Meeden black paint..
My paints are mixed with Floetrol and a bit of water..to a medium consistency. A mound lands.. hesitates and then sinks into the paint..
I used Arteza Pearl Turquoise.. mixed in a similar way and then Golden's high flow Iridescent gold..straight from the bottle..
I added a bit more black before swiping with a damp paper towel..down the length if the canvas..
Golden high flow is absolutely.magic in a swipe.. It creates texture and dimension.
You need to try it in a swipe.. it is wonderful..

I've seen several fluid artist use that Goldens high flow in iridescent gold in a variety of ways Michelle. You can't go wrong with it. Good investment. 🥰

This is beautiful. I love how the high flow reacts. I am amazed that your paints are thicker people have always told me thin thin thin for swipes. Gail this so inspiring for me. I am just a bit hesitant to try the swipe technique because I have messed up so many times that I am beside the to try. Every time I see your video I want to try. Perhaps this one be a bit easier as one of the paints does not need any mixing. I shall let you know how I do.I love watching you paint and the final results are always awesome. Lovely piece. I don’t understand the Medeen black paint. I can’t source it online and there isn’t an art store where I live. What can be used as an alternative?
You can use Artist Loft Flow black.. or Sax Tru Flow.. any black really..

Gail would DecoArt 24K gold be a good alternative for the Golden? I already have some of it and the price on the Goldens took my breath away even with a 20% off sale right now it’s $20 for 4 oz.

@@GailBurstynLifeInSplatters I caved and bought some with a 25% off coupon but I bought the heavy body in the tube. It seemed like a cheaper option than the bottle.
I see now that you definitely used the Goldens straight from the bottle. What would your recommendation be to mix this tube paint to get a similar consistency as the bottle?
