"You're safety cannot be guaranteed", "We will shut down in person classes and go virtual", "Good luck on your finals!" These unis that shut down class or access need to be sued. How are students supposed to access the resources they need. Yes they can go online but there's not always digital resources available.

Here’s the thing: I respect protest, but I feel personally that these movements that are constantly forming is people just wanting to be a part of something without even looking at the spectrum of the whole picture. Just like the squad in our very own government are more worried about other countries problems instead of our own. If you want change in another country and you believe you can help it change for the better than just leave the United States and let us worry our problems and go see how good you have it there. Enjoy your education there, your freedoms, defy their science and beliefs and see how long you last. These are countries who are still fighting a war over religious beliefs that never advanced with the changes of time. They are stuck in their ways and until that time arises nothing will change for the better for the wars or the people in them.
Here's the thing, though: this issue IS an American problem because America (Joe) is sending billions of dollars in aid to Israel. This will continue to be an American problem until American STOPS sending money to Israel. Here's what Americans are asking for---STOP sending bomb and war money to Israel.
When usa stops sending money and weapons to its gang in Israel to kill the indigenous population, the Palestinians, and the money for these weapons is from taxpayers.

Protest against war in Gaza? Yes. But I would like to hear also about free Gaza from Hamas. And Hamas to be accountable for killing too. Killing is wrong on both sides.

What happened to our freedom of speech? the students are exercising their constitutional rights. What kind of democracy are we living in when we are exercising our constitutional rights and the police or national guard are call in to arrest the students.
Central High School Little Rock, Arkansas, on Sept. 25, 1957. Imagine how the African Amerian Students felt when they went to attend their classes. Sadly that same HATE is now at Columbia University and other Ivy League Campuses.

NYPD should arrest these students and fine them $1000 every-time. Imagine how much NY will make - and NY needs this money desperately. OR all universities should just start expelling these students and give admission to those deserving students that qualified based on their admission criteria but they turned away. I'm sure those that were refused will jump on a chance to go to these ivy's. These entitled students will stop this disruption immediately if they know they will loose their fees (which is 90k+ in most of these ivy's). If any of these students have received grants or any federal aid as scholarships, they must be revoked. Stop giving tax payer's money to these kids. They believe in a cause - it is good, but causing disruption - NOT on taxpayer's money.
Exactly but I have a much better idea. How about we fine them for 10000 USD each and send all that money to Israel??? And we could also forcefully make them get 100000 USD loans from banks and send all that money to Israel as well???
