For players under lvl 25: If possible, utilize the Rail-gun from the Zumwalt, I got mine from the daily awards system so you probably dont have to buy it, it pairs amazingly with Ushakov since it reloads fast and deals high damage. Also in my opinion, the Varyag is the best due to its hit and run capability, I used it until I reached lvl 25, its also smaller and faster than the Nakhimov, despite having lower health, its amazing when it comes to deflecting enemy missiles due to the insane amount of air defense, its only counter is a submarine, but even that can be easily dealt with.
The Varyag is best Air craft and Anti Missile Ship But The Vella gulf is Anti everything so in most matches the Vella gulf proves to be more effective and has two Air defence slots so if you pair one laser or Jrng with crotel it will proved a satisfying performance. I have both VG and Varyag but VG deals a little more damage and also destroyes submarine a lot faster.
Here's a Nanchang build as a "middle finger to submarines" for level 25+: Missile slot 1: Swarmer Missile slot 2: Swarmer Cannon: (Anything you want) Grenade launcher: Ikara Torpedo: Swordfish or Black Shark Helicopter: Wz-19 or anything you want AA: Garpun/Crotale
both ships are very good just need to adjust your playstyle accordingly and practice both ships in offline matches to be more familiar on how both ships perform in actual combat.

Im a new player, recently reached lvl 15 and im grinding for dollar ships. I have been using the type 05d xiamen with your loadout that i got from the tier 2 ships video. Its pretty good, the smart missles are decent. Im not sure if i should buy JS Ashigara, Port Royal, 055 nanchang, or varyag. The nakhimov will be a free ship for me on day 28 or something so i wont buy it.

hello thank you for your comment. regarding your question Garpun is advised since Garpun is enhanced essentially version of 730C. Garpun has higher damage, higher critical chance and longer reach, range is important not only in defending against incoming missiles but specially against strike fighters and bombers. Just Incase it's your level that's why your considering 730C instead of Garpun I strongly suggest you spam offline mode for xp and dollar save for Garpun and upgrade it will be more worth it.

hello I'm very sorry for late response your comment was filtered and I was not able to see them. to be honest I like ashigara cause it's more maneuverable helps me hide faster in island or turn better in tight spaces. but Varyag is never a bad choice. both ships need decent weapon and defenses also lot of practice to be able to fight well.

hello for me if your planing to get used to the game and online pvp Varyag is a good ship though it's not intended to to head on with most top tiered ships it can hold very well as a back up or support role ship in your fleet.
I would say nakimov is better than varyag in terms of weaponry, because it has a bigger hp pool than varyag making it useful for brawling, and it also has 3missile in total, lots of air defence and btw, the newest update in modern warships have given nakimov an extra grenade launcher slot so now it has 4 slots.
but in my opinion, just use any of these ships to grind missions and then get a battlepass ship, none of these are viable online maybe exept for 055 or varang

if your fighting Belgorod destructive torpedo or swarm of Torpedoes it can, but just hide in the island when Torpedoes are heading towards you you'll be fine. having GL won't hurt but if you are careful you can fight without them.
Those ships DDGX, Lider, D66 and CGX are all level 25, this list is for level 20 only (new players) but yeah made mistake on Lider was infact dollar I mixed it up for Project 2145 😅 ( Gold Premium ship) cause Lider is Project 23560 🤦 which is confusing. But yeah they are not here in video cause this video is for new players which is level 20 entry level tier 3 ships.
Hello go for it! I personally use RF Varyag in some of my PvP fight, you just need to have a good missiles and torpedoes also never go alone when you first use this ship as it need practice to be familiar with, use it in offline mode first so you can practice well before using it in online PvP fights.

hello you need to practice with it been fighting players in this ship and I could not beat them even using a very expensive ship they even manage to get rank 1 in the game. Just need practice and good equipment.

No. I use NANCHANG at lvl 38 and I have destroyed multiple nakhimov easily. with RBU 10000, torpedos and YJ21s

With that ship instead of using high damage missiles use spammer missiles like the RSB or RBS I forgot the name. Top one onl tier 3 rare.
