#Dreamland
Hi InsipAspir! First of all, I wanted to say that I'm happy that you were able to publish your ep as you wanted. Being a producer myself, I wanted to share with you what I think about your tracks, beacuse I think that feedback from other producer is very valuable (don't worry I'm a beginner too). Let's start with saying that I liked every track, maybe not much the second one beacuse I'm not a huge fan of the kick on every beat. Your tracks start great, and you make great drop, but in my opinion the think that you lack the most is risers, impacts and all that elements that build tension and energy before the drop. Sometimes, the drop kinda happens, you don't really much feel it coming (as it should be in my opinion). In the second drop of the first track you used a metallic kind of bass to add variation, and I think it was a fantastic idea, it fits very well. In the second track, after the first bar, there's another bar where you lack the mid-bass frequencies, that are present before and after; maybe it was personal preference, but it leaves you with a feeling of emptyness in the moment where you should feel more energy. The third song sounds beautiful to me, the drop, as I said before, kinda happens, but in this one it feels natural, so good job. But after the first drop and that little breakdown, there's a pause with no sound at all that makes you think the song just ended. To avoid this, try adding a long impact, or something like a pad, soft but better than complete silence. The last song is the one that I appreciated the most, it's more experimental and unique than the other ones, it's where your style pops out, and I have to say that it's a beautiful track. Another thing that you do is using few elements even in the drops; I would suggets trying to use more layers, if you want a fuller sound with more energy. But maybe it's your personal preference, it's up to you. Well, that's pretty much it, hope you find what I wrote somewhat useful, and againg, nice EP man, and keep this channel up.
(I forgot to talk about the music theory, beacuse it's perfect, always on point! Good job)
Oh wow hey thanks, really appreciate you taking the time to write this! I agree, this feedback is very valuable. I have read all your notes and will keep them in mind moving forward, only can help make everything better in the long run. Honestly do appreciate it! Thanks for being awesome :D
@@InspirAspir You're welcome! Glad you found it useful
InspirAspir Has GOOD Drops, so you can't criticise him because it's better than despacito!
@@lynxar4 but what about despacito 2?
@@matteoghiotto That's the real question
Drift 0:00
Fillet 3:29
Morning Dew 6:59
Home With You 10:07
Real talk, My favorite was Morning Dew... and Home With You... and Can't forget about Fillet! Ah what the heck, they're all so great! I was honestly floored when the drops hit for Morning Dew and Home With You, they were amazing!
aha hey thanks! Really really appreciate it :D
i dont't normally listen to this type of music, but damn this is great
Fillet is easily my favorite!! It feels so huge and emotional! And the plucky chords in the intro and bridge sound a lot like Alan Walker! Good job 👏
U r my inspiration
Yoooo that intro pluck synth thing in Drift is sick! Totally getting some 2010 Skrillex vibes from it
Love Drift. Beautiful. Well done!
I like how you took the idea of the moon in one of the comments and made it reality, really inspiring stuff my dude
I too am a college student with a bit of music experience and I have been really getting into the whole thing and I find that the hardest part is finding which chords go well together along with the lead sounds but I am learning as I go! Keep up the good work man!
No doubt! I agree, that can definitely be tough - but like you said that's just something you learn as you go. Keep putting work into it and you'll be happy with where you end up! Cheers, best of luck :D
Home with You That Drop at 12:15 is Sick !!
Goddammit I forgot about this. Finally listening to it now. I'm LOVING it. Your tracks never fail to keep me interested. The production and composition is just really amazing.

Dude this is sick
Usually not the type of music I enjoy but this was surprisingly good
wow wow wow just awesome
i know nothing about producing music, but i would say 'home with you' sounds (in my opinion) the best😊, bc it sounds most relaxing, most soothing, its not a song which would stress my ears when listening to it
Cheers, thanks! You don't have to know how to produce music to decide which one you like best, I appreciate the comment :D
This is my new favorite EP.
Wow you actually read this, now you can say you are very observant.

Home With You is the best
bootifool
I listened to Dreamland on my drive to school this morning; and had it on repeat all day long. It was an ugly day here in Canada with a ton of snow everywhere, but listening to my favourite of your four songs on the EP, Morning Dew, I completely forgot about the weather and had a genuinely great morning. You did great dude! After listening to what you created, I want to jump into production even more now! We still need to hear more from you, too! 🔥
This just made my day! Really appreciate it, that's awesome to hear. Thank you so much, cheers :D
Finally! You are actually the best, and deserve more subscribers than T-Series!
aha thank you! That's quite the goal :P

I´m producing music myself too with ableton but im just a beginner but i know how hard it is to create what you have done
Morning Dew
Oh my god... Imma get meh food and the drinks lolz
Dammit now I'm gonna spend my Christmas money on this thing XD
Mannn who does your artwork? The art is very impressive
Here is her instagram: instagram.com/fatimamandoo/
Hey, what's up? I came across your 1 week of a college student / music producer video today. It was an interesting watch and shortly after I wanted to hear the EP you released. Anyway, I just wanted to say that your music has a great sound to it and idk if I'm coming off a bit ambitious here but idk if you've ever heard of a game called "Rocket League" but I swear your EP would be the perfect sound track for it. Not sure how you'd get your music in there but maybe shoot them a link or something somehow. Just an idea lol. I know you don't know me but I really enjoy rocket leagues music and this reminds me a ton of it. The overall feel just fits. Anyway, great stuff. Peace.
nice
Please make "Way Back Home" light show.
No double just a launchpad. Cuz i only have a MK2.
Really nice, I myself am trying to do music. Any tips?
Thank you for the EP! I keep coming back to it!
How did you get the track around your art?
Thank you! Appreciate it. As for the album art, I reached out an artist to get it done. She painted the image and allowed me to use it as the album art
She is an excellent artist then! But I was asking about the soundwave (?) around the art when the songs play. Where did you get that?
This music is so perfect for UA-cam videos👌🏼 Can I use ur music in my videos? Or... copyright?🤔
Omgomgomgomg
Great man. Your genre is cool. I like it so much. I also make music. My genre is also future bass.
Hey thanks! Really appreciate it :D
Hey, I have maked a launchpad cover with lightshows and now I want to record it. I have the record arm selected on my samples track so every sound I play will be recorded but when I click on the record or start button all the lightshows start to lag extremely. Does someone know how to fix this???
how do i insert a midi clip into user 1 mode(pls help me im lost)
Are you reading comments?
This is another one of those comments which will probably not get a like.
Isn't this already as an EP on Monstercat? So that you won't get any more fame?
Just sayin' this EP is super dope.🔥🔥
Hmm I'm not sure, I haven't heard any EP on Monstercat with the same name if that's what you're asking
@@InspirAspir I was talking about Monstercat taking this EP and getting all the money.
Not quite sure what you mean - none of these songs on are Monstercat. It would be super cool if they were to pick it up though aha
@@InspirAspir That's what I am talking about. Them picking up your EP.
@@InspirAspir Just think of the boost in popularity!!
Hey bro!! First of all awesome work you’re truly an inspiration well I have just started learning music production and I have released my first EP it’s not that great but it’s a start.. But shall we collaborate?? If you’re fine with it.. Waiting for your reply
Here because of your Ableton videos helping me. Hopefully our views help you in return
Incredible form a techno band get a singer lol
Is it copyrighted?
These songs are copyrighted, yes
Nice songs, but they sound (in my opinion) way to thin. Its like Mono over 900000000. But besides that soungs dope ^^
Hey cheers! Yeah I still have a looong way to go in terms of mixing and mastering quality - but only gets better over time. Can't wait to release songs until they're perfect because otherwise I'd never release anything lol. Appreciate the feedback :D
👇😂👇
dont make me sample u bro
InspirAspir - Dreamland (Inspired by Porter Robinson & Tobu)
reminder set 👏
Got my popcorn and drinks ready, set a the reminder and cancelled my work for this
That looks like the Traveler and the Last City from Destiny.
Interested in Destiny 2? Subscribe to my channel!! It would be really appreciated
Amazing! Nice Work!
Bro how did you start producing music? I mean, learning all this softwares and stuff
slowly
stefano arnello He probably bought the software and then hopefully he read lots of manuals, followed by a lot of experimentation and then as we know by his youtube channel he then went into formal education for it (I recommend against the final part for most people). Really though if you want to learn then just buy the software, read the manuals, watch some youtube videos (there are many now on youtube) I don't tend to watch them but I've heard there are some really good in depth guys being sadowick or SeamlessR but i think there are some really good websites to help you learn to produce and they have lots of guides. Learn your VST's stock plug-ins inside and out and then buy (or pirate) some reputable VST's and then read the fucking manuals. When you have finally come to grips with the software then begin learning to write songs via music theory and lots of personal inspiration/creativity.
Pretty close, though never had any formal education at all (went to school for computer science). Only self taught through UA-cam videos, SeamlessR helped me a bunch. Hope I can become one of those channels that help others out myself, just paying it forward! But cheers, you bring up some great points - that's what it takes. Cheers guys!
InspirAspir i must have confused your channel with another one, I thought you had uploaded a day in the life of a music production student.
Edit: you did but it was of you as a college student, you arent actually studying music production. Honestly now I like you even more as you're self taught.
Great album
❤
Honestly the ideas are realllyyy good on the tracks, but in my opinion, all of the tracks lack mastering and more effects such as risers, etc. Also i assume most of the tracks are future bass, so id suggest to put some ambience in the background for filling up the space and making the tracks sound more organic.
