- I hope you learned something helpful to quickly elevate your Portrait Paintings from this video!
This was my first video of these sorts but I'm really looking forward to making more art and animation related content :)
I tried to study portrait illustration, this time with a focus on a tool most often used in photography and live action film, with the help of the masterful Yoneyama Mai.
As always, I'm happy to hear your feedback or any suggestions.

Oh my god. The way you explained how to do that blur effect with just gaussian blur... Why didn't I come up with this sooner haaha. Something clicked in my head. Thank you so much, you just helped me elevate my art with like two sentences. Great video besides that as well!!!
AHH! this is very relatable, I totally get it ahah
happens to me all the time, when someone says "this is how I do it", and it blows me away how simple it is and yet I never thought of it on my own!
Take it away, and have lots of fun 🌞
The end result is magical! Hope this becomes a series, I would love to see your take on Hayao Miyazaki’s work.
Oh! Then I'll definitely add it to my list ;)
Ahh this is so well done! I love the way you explain things in such a concise way
Im so glad it was clear !
Wow! This video is so lovely! Your voice is so nice to listen to and the tips are amazing!!! Keep up the good work!! ❤🎉🎉
Thank you :')))
YOUR ART IS SO PREATTY
omg, hi, thank you :'))
done this before results can be super nice, but I prefer using a mask on the blurred layer, to work in a non destructive way
really hope CSP added a blur correction layer
This is very underrated :) Keep up!!
Thank you so much, I'll try my best :)
