I love Nobility radios! Every time they came out with another radio with an extra transistor I would get one at the local drugstore. It seems on the east coast the name brand was called Candle. Great radios, the last one I had was a Nobility Am/Fm radio that was broken by my brother and for the longest time tried to find it on eBay. Good Show! Thanks for the post.

CANDLE was the brand of “Tokyo Transistor Co. LTD. They made pretty good stuff.
I’m not sure who made radios for Nobility. Not sure who sold them. Nobility was a lower cost brand, especially from the mid 1960’s on.
This radio was sold under several different brand names. But it’s a very good radio.
Keep looking, you might just find the old AM/FM radio you once had - and it made have a different brand on it. Too bad your brother broke it. Often , extra transistors did nothing at all, except make you think it was a better radio.😮
      Thanks for sharing and watching.

@@jeffking4176 THANK YOU for the information! The Only reason I mention that was I also had an AM/FM Shortwave Nobility radio. Later I saw the same thing with the Brand Name Candle on it and just assumed that it was the same company. And you are right, the extra transistors was just a ploy but it sure snagged me all the time when buying them. 😁. As for the last radio, I really can't blame my brother, He took it to the beach and some kids ran over it while he was just lying there. 😛😅
