I tried clearing it with an old OBD reader from Amazon but it didn’t show anything. Good thing was my wife drove it around for a couple days and it just went away on its own. Sorry not much of an answer for you 😞
@ sorry. May need BMW or someone more knowledgeable than me. There is a fuse box underneath the glove box. Another thing is BMW has a specific code reader that is sold on Amazon… could try that. Sorry. Check in when you find out the problem and add to this post and add to the community. Thank you.🙏
There are 2 motors. First is the big kidney grill and the second is on the the bottom (which was my problem on this car). I first thought it was the top one but it was the bottom so if you fast forward to that section… I ended up replacing that and have been fine ever since. I believe the code error will go away after driving it as I remember 🤔 in the video
@@jonathanpanah911 no because it was stuck open. It is a common issue found on these vehicles. The motor is very small, in front area where water 💦 could easily enter. The grill is constantly being opened and closing . I could not imagine what it would cost and what they would try to say at the dealership
Just letting you know. There is an extended warranty for the active grills. There's a tsb out for it. 10 years/150k miles. So no need to to pay or diy 😂😂😂😂
The problem with my car was the lower active grille. I figured I show both the upper and lower motor and how to replace it. Thanks for checking out the video 👍
Did the car have to be flashed by bmw? My cel is still on after installing the new motor

@@hunterandchavy I'm thinking the car will "learn" over time.
Still no luck on my end. Do we know what fuse number this is
