Came out of nowhere, too, didn't expect it to be so good but it just... _was._ You can tell by his SNL performances that he's perfectly willing to be as ridiculous as possible and laugh at himself, and he *commits.* Every time. That's what makes him so entertaining. A lot of actors get on SNL and they half-ass it, even the SNL cast tend to, particularly these days, but not Ryan. He's out there giving it 110% like his whole career depends on it. Papyrus is probably one of the best SNL shorts because of him.
