I know. What also kills me is that she was with her mother. Sitting with her when she was found. Instead of going to play she tried to make her mother feel better. I pray to God that Ava doesn't remember any of this.

That part really hurt my heart to think of how that baby girl felt & any lingering memories she deals with ...so much pain & trauma to deal with just awful!

What gets me is that she had to sit for 24 hours with her mom's dead body. Just thinking of my 4 year old trying to help me is unimaginable, but to have her alone for 24 hours with me gone is gut wrenching. I feel so sorry for her experiencing that.

Tim's dad saying, "Did you do it?" is probably because after he killed her, he came home acting strange or distraught. So the father being smart said, "why don't you go return the flashlight" so they would go over there. He already knew something bad had happened.

At the time, Tim was the number 1 suspect, so I think it was reasonable that his dad would ask, Did you do it? Yeah the more you get into true crime, the more cases you see where racial prejudice is blatantly obvious. I honestly wonder if her dad and his girlfriend knew she was promiscuous with many men, and killed her at a time that they knew a mans DNA would be inside of her. Just the way her body was found, like she was posed that way. It reminds me of other murder cases where the perp tries to make it seem like it was a sexual assault. Why didn’t she have vaginal trauma?!! Knowing her history, it’s incredibly likely that she invited the garbage man in for a good time 🤷🏻‍♀️ and then was murdered by someone else afterwards.

When Kendal said that most parents who smoke weed are known as lazy stoners who don’t care for their kids, I freaked out. I live in Kentucky where medical marijuana is NOT legal yet the police are fine with my mom using it for her Multiple Sclerosis. We had to go to court over my mom smoking weed and the social worker on our case thought my mom was a lazy stoner who didn’t take care of me. The judge closed our case and said everything should go back to normal and that there was NOTHING WRONG WITH MY MOM SMOKING WEED. On top of that, the social worker lied to us like crazy! She told me once my mom would try to break into my dads house and take me bc she was smoking weed! People now days still consider marijuana a hard drug that messes you up when it doesn’t. I’ve seen how it helps. It should be atleast medically legal in all 50 states

We did only have 16 locations in the state last year to fill the prescription & ran by the State Dept. All that, just to be able to get LOW LEVEL thc, what you get at the gas station, Delta 8 equivalents basically..sucks living in the south sometimes! ..Weed & Duis are still the top 2 crimes in my county, & for decades.. smh...

Na, flashlight Guy would have never left Ava there, he would have taken her with him and told some kind of Story aka "i'm just helping that hot single mom out, Ava is like my own daughter to me" i 100% believe it was Avas father/his wife or someone related to them. The wife clearly saw the fault for the affair not with her husband, but with the Women he was banging, she might has been fine with it until he had another child (kinda that "He might be snacking with you but he's having dinner with me every night") and she was affraid her family life was in danger or her public image might be damaged. That also fits to the fight regarding putting Ava on his health care Plan and stuff, it's stuff that families do and they weren't supposed to be Family so it had to end.

But honestly, (not sure of your age, I'm 45 and have seen the change,) people are, and have been accepting marijuana more and more. Where it was once "a drug" and NOT up for discussion at all; Drs, older people who were raised to hate it, people who thought "NO WAY" it will be legal, etc, are discussing it. People I never thought would change there opinion; are now seeing the light. My mother is still convinced it's "the devil" but that's a small amount of people stuck in that mind set. Some people are not willing to listen because they "know it all." That's actually a smaller group today when it was once a bigger group of people. With the "opioid crisis" I think that has helped people see the light. Like what the hell can weed do when we see what "drugs" actually do? Weed has never done any such thing like opioids. I think in another 20 years it will be much more accepted than even today. I live in a small, nice town. I'm sure you can imagine how well received a "medical marijuana" place was accepted at first! Plus one town over they opened a "recreational marijuana" shop a little over a year ago. They were NOT well received at first, big time! However, over a year later with NOT ONE incident like naive people thought it's not so bad lol! It will just keep getting better I firmly believe.

Just a thought but what if Tim killed her (again this is a theory not fact) and thought for sure someone would find the body and report it but he knew he left Ava there and needed an excuse to go back. Suggested to his dad about the flashlight, made it seem like the dad suggested they get the flashlight and then miraculously discover the body and saving Ava and his guilt.

He was obsessed with her, but he couldve just been using the flashlight returning as his excuse to see her?. It does kind of seem staged in a way tho, its odd he had his dad drive him, maybe so he wasnt alone when he called 911...he couldve bn stalking her, went over there, trying to be a peeping Tom & saw her dead, went home & got his dad to drive him bcuz they knew he'd be the #1 suspect? Nobody knows tbh

I'm in Hingham, where I also grew up, as did my parents. My aunt went to school with Christa. Growing up. I used to look at her yearbooks and always thought Christa was so pretty, and my aunt told me about her in school and how she went to NY. She was like Best Dressed or something in school. Certain people in her yearbook just stood out and I'd ask about them. Then years after, while I was married with kids, when this all happened, was so weird, because it was the pretty girl in the picture I was always interested in learning about growing up. My sister-in-law is in Truro, and it is so small-town. Beautiful, but isolated. It was a sad case. I know many who knew the family thought the father's girlriend was most likely part of it, having someone do it.

    • @ChrissieAnna

Kallista Sarah Depends on who’s handling the DNA. It’s happened a lot where evidence has been purposely contaminated or the results are fabricated by police so that a specific individual will be wrongly convicted. I can see why if you are suspected you would be hesitant but I can also understand it being suspicious to say no and how it would be better to clear your name. Just comes down to past experiences with police I guess and how much you know about how corrupt the town you live in is.

I deleted my comment... but I stick to the obsessed guy did it. He knew she was sleeping with the garbage guy and he felt like how could she be with him and not him. He was probably snooping around and saw and after the garbage guy left he went in and killed her because he wanted her. The father knew his sons love was unrequited and that's why asked if he did it. I don't think Chris did it at all.

  • @laurapirate

The Christmas tree was in the crime scene photos though? My money's on Susan. No woman would be fine with their husband cheating and having a secret love child and be okay with such graphic letters intended to upset her! I bet she just didn't wanna give Christa the satisfaction of showing her being upset and clearly Christa was trying to get her to leave Tony. She probably invited her to dinner pretending she was fine and then played the long game. When Christa brought lawyers in it was probably the last straw and Susan snapped. She wouldn't care for Ava much so she just left her there with her mother's body. Why would she even make a "joke" about a little girl whose mother has just been murdered? Ava could identify her and that's why she called her a fucking liar.

One can only hope she does not recall it. But at the same time, I wonder if she does? I know toddlers don't remember much but apparently you can recall things from 2 1/5 yrs old, especially traumatic events. My dad for example remembers when his mother walked out on him at that exact age, it was the last time he saw her until he was an adult so I do think that's why that scene stuck with him. As horrible as it may be, her memory could be helpful in confirming or identifying the murderer

I'm thinking maybe it was Tims Dad. Maybe he went over there to discuss letting Tim see Ava more or something n it got out of hand n that was the outcome. As it was said earlier, Tim was watching a football game, it was his Dad that suggested to him about taking the flashlight over, not the other way around. Maybe he said to Tim to take it over then because he knew Ava was on her own n he needed a way to get Tim over there. Wot do u all think???

    • @irenemax3574
      @irenemax3574 3 роки тому +1

No no no! (Sorry, I get a bit hysterical in my defence of Tim) Tim’s dad could see how terribly upset he was because Christa had not returned his calls, so he suggested going there with the flashlight as an excuse. He knew that Tim would feel better if he could set eyes on Christa even for a few minutes because he was in love with her. (Parents always know your feelings even if you try to hide them) Tim couldn’t drive himself at that time, so he was dependent upon his dad giving him a lift.

I feel like the “returning the phone” thing was an excuse for him to talk to her.
He seemed very attached and may have missed her, and scraped up anything to go visit her.

Josh: ...and this is the last time Christa is for sure seen alive.
Me: What??.....oh, right. This is a true crime episode...
lol You two are so good at telling these people's stories that I usually forget that something bad happens to them, and get invested in their lives. Which is great, because when it gets to The Part, it hits harder than if you were to just start there and only talk about the case itself.
(this also applies to Kendall's videos)

My dad was murdered when I was 2 and then my mom passed of cancer 2 years later when I was 4. I don't have any memory of either of them either. It sucks. Its like how can you ever forget your mum?
