      i don’t speak Hindi much and im still trying to learn it properly, and I just understand what he’s saying from his animations without the captions on. Lol, it’s sort of a fun way to learn. Ik he mixes Hindi and English while he talks sometimes, but it’s still entertaining and understandable to me personally

    Bro, My mother tongue is also Bengali....but I live in assam and most of my friends are assamese and hindi speakers....growing up, as I spent a lot of time with them, I became much more fluent in assamese than the native speakers themselves but on the other hand my bengali was not that clear but fluent enough for a bengali speaker to understand ( as I only spoke it at home and with my parents , and I was not formally taught)....God all my assamese and hindi speaking friends are sometimes so damn jealous of me , that they call me fake bongali or fake bangalan for this 🤣🤣.....Throughout the video I can totally relate with every incident u shared....Man other than languages, you also have a solid story telling skills, 10/10 !!!

In Odisha my Hindi sounded like a Odia speaking hind, in Chhattisgarh it sounded like Chhattishgarhi and so on. I've seen people from multiple backgrounds, multiple different cultures. And suddenly getting this video on my recommended made me remember those days and relate so well with you, as a fellow Bengali. Great msg and video, keep up the good work man

    as a Bengali born in Haridwar and just shifted to Kolkata in April i can confirm no relatives treat u like you're bloodline, and i can't even understand are they talking to me in soft voice or harshly. living in Kolkata and changing your school is really hard for me like a new language is added for me to study "Bengali" my third lang and can't even understand what mam is even teaching like khud ke man hi rehta huu class mein. the culture is new for me like one day there was a holiday for a Bengali festival that i heard for the first time and every one of my relatives told me to come with them so i went and seriously it was fun for just looking around and eating i can't even understand what they were talking about me and of course i was confused i understand some of them like they said "my mother bought me a new" but i couldn't understood that was they talking in a good manner like respecting or what or just they were like disrespecting my mother i was so confused that time. And i leave alone with my grandfather my mother is still in Haridwar for job offer to Kolkata and some family issues and currently am in class 9th..

    The thoughts that you have put forward is really nice and honestly I myself am bengali and live in Assam but I find myself often thinking about critical situations in English and find English a much more comfortable language to express myself. And I have been afraid of speaking in Assamese. It is not that I am absolutely terrible at it but it is more that I am afraid of messing conversations up. This has led me to altogether avoiding any conversations in Assamese. But I think I will also try and come out of my comfort zone and learn the various languages that thrieve in India. Thank You!

    I just found your video out of nowhere, and damn i definitely can relate to it. I’m a Bengali, but my schooling was in mixed culture where you can find bengali, nepali, bihari, adivasi, boro and obviously Hindi talking people . Then i went to Rajasthan where 99% of my batchmates were from different states with different culture. They all used to tell me that my Hindi doesn’t sound like bengali. There common question was do you always eat fish, ‘rasgulla’ , sing ‘ami je tomar chin chin chin’….😅 and obviously non of these assumptions were correct. But one thing that you mentioned is very true that when you mix yourself with different people of different cultures and languages, your mindset will improve a lot. I can definitely understand this! Cause my thought process and response to any incident is very much different from my school friends as I explored more than them. Any way I loved this video. ❤

    In Dr. Hubermans show the huberman lab, he once had a guest who he talked with about Emotional Intelligence. The guest also emphasised on knowing different words to categorize your emotions, such as anger, peeve, irk, as these different words have slightly different meanings which can change how you percive and know your emotions a lot.

    I'm from Bangladesh and speak Bangla. Which makes my ethnicity Bangali. We don't have this much of diversified cultures here. But I often think that it might be very excited to be amongst so people of so many cultures!!!
    Once I went to Saudi Arab and I felt that warmth feeling of talking to people in sign languages bcz we don't speak each others languages. That's why I want to visit India at least once. I'm also learning the Hindi alphabets in the hope that someday I might need that!!! ☺

    The last bit was so true. Another reason(and a lesser preached one) to inculcate reading, in general. The loss of words to express an unorganised thought should be taken as a matter of mild concern and should be worked upon.

    • @sankarkumardas9567
      @sankarkumardas9567 9 місяців тому

      I do feel the same,,, but sometimes idk for me, my mind goes blank while giving appropriate replies according to situations.. when I start writing, I'm at loss of words, hence I stopped talking, all the unspoken words gathered around my mind only. I was not like that earlier, it started d 2 years ago, heartbreaks in a long term friendship and betrayal. I can't get back to my meritorious, expressible self , feels like I've deteriorated a lot and it's hard to stand up again, because people around me are changed, their thoughts are changed indeed. Even now I lose my track and looks like a pushover. I got so solutions till now
