I scored 96% for this year's (2022-2023) boards scoring all A1 for all the subjects. Initially my parents were really happy and we celebrated in our own ways. My dad's acquaintance's daughter also wrote the 10th boards and scored A1 for all the subjects except maths. Many days passed after the result declaration and my father just kept on praising that girl. I don't have anything against her, in fact we're friends too. He tells my family how she is so intelligent, smart and hardworking for scoring this high percentage and initially it was fine with me. But then one day my relatives asked me a sum in math. Because all the spotlight was on me and since I have a really bad anxiety, I gave the wrong answer and they all started making fun of me and said things like "so getting all A1 for boards can be achieved by average students as well". Following this my dad said "even though she scored all A1, she still remains dumb". At that moment I laughed with the others because you don't say anything to anyone during family reunions (especially to those aunties) but that day when I came home, I locked the door to my bathroom and cried. How is it, that she scored A1 in all subjects except for math gets all the respect from my father while I get called dumb? Society is really unfair...

I didn't do any sample papers except for english and maths because I didn't get time and I still scored well. All you need is to understand the concept clearly and the rest will be fine. Make sure to get good sleep the day before and most of all don't be nervous.... You got this!

Percentile is the rank that we gain while competiting with others.
Agar aapke 490/500 hai kishi exam mein toh aapki percentage 98% hogi liken aapki percentile depend karegi ki bakki bacho ne kaise score kiya hai samjo sirf aapka paper acha gaya liken bakiyo ka ganda toh aap 100% percentile gain kar sakte ho even if you have 98%.

I did my Middle School from Robert F. Wagner Middle School in New York City, USA.
I had to then return back to India for my high school. I joined DPS RKP in the middle of grade 9. I was entirely new, inexperienced and unfamiliar with this Indian education system, schooling system and most importantly perhaps, the Indian society and people ( that was particularly the most painful, torturous, traumatizing, harsh and difficult part to deal with) Grade 10 was an absolute and total nightmare for me all throughout in various aspects.
It's basically a horror story 😢

My literal current thoughts
I got 86% in my boards in class 10. But my parents never put pressure on me to take what they want . So I chose humanities because I scored 97 in sst . And I loved sst the most. I gave my board in 2019 session .

And don't worry about boards I am also scared of board but when I give my english paper I got confidence that it . And only focused on ncert and pyq questions and last do sample paper also. No need of any reference books. Focus on ncert . All the best

Even I. 10th boards is nothing compared to 11th and 12th science! Sadly no one tells students...the HUGE difference between 10th and afterwards. If anyone is in 11th standard, this tip is for you. Don't be oversmart that boards Khatam...because 11th is harder than any class. Less time, never ending syllabi... study hard from beginning!

Thank you so much. I literally needed this because of the sudden change in my stream. All my future plans went in vain and I still have no idea what I'm gonna do about this. But yeah...This video made me feel like I'm not alone and just because I was topper with 97% in 10th doesn't mean I have to choose Science stream.
Watched this video in 2019 and at that time I was in 8th standard and i was trying to relate to this by replacing boards with my final exams but now when i am in 12th and now i don't need to force myself to relate this. 12th me or 10th me difference ye hai ki jaise hi 10th hota hai tumhe utna pressure nhi milega kyuki 11th aa jata hai jo mera acha gaya but result ke around 1 week ka break ke baad hi mera 12th ka classes lagwaya gaya. The tension you are talking about is very relatable , since i am in commerce mai exact to relate na kar pau but can understand in a very good chunk. 2:05 Talking about this part have to add this for my little brothers and sisters who may think of same but in reality aaesa kuch bhi nhi hai. Kuch hi honge jo genuinely join karte hai aaese foundation course otherwise baki ke sab ya to parents bharte hai ya to tum bas issliye bharte ho kyuki tum bohot confuse ho. Mera CA banane ka koi man nhi hai instead i am interested in learning business (that's why took Commerce)but jab commerce bole to log ke dimage pe sabse pehle yahi ata hai ki vo person CA karega even now i am not sure kya mai banuga but i think took a lot of time to think ki agar abhi bolu ki mujhe CA nhi karna to shayad daat pade to which i am ok but jo mehenat ka paise ja raha hai usse dekh bohot dukh ho raha hai. Aaj hi coaching me ek person aake bola "tumne koi course liya ?" and i said ki CA (with a very straight face) and to which he replied "good i am still confused". At that time i felt so helpless thinking maybe vo bhi wahi soch raha hoga ye person ka to fix hai mai hi bas dumb hu but reality to jaisa maine bola hi.

I gave my board exams in the year 2020 in the month of March. I got 89.4% in aggregate and I was sacred as I thought that I would get a scolding from my parents and the relatives would compare my marks with their children. But luckily I got highest among my friends and my cousins. No one got above 80 apart from me 😁
You are lucky man! I have so much pressure, everyone expects so much from me. In my family we have all the 90% above cousins and my parents already are pressurising me by expecting 95% . I am in depression these days. I really hope that I can manage to score above 90%😭

@@LPanastasia Actually in the year 2019-2020 CBSE 10th board exams the results were not so good all over India. The no of students getting above 90% were very less compared to other years.

9:56 absolutely right. Although I am watching this video after 2 years, I can still feel your words, since I have also given 10th boards (12th boards been cancelled for COVID). My parents also used to keep too much expectation on me - that I would pursue engineering and have a good degree. They also told me that questions would be comprised of everything we learnt from class 1 to 10 - which was the biggest scam. We were only required to finish 10th syllabus. People treated me like a soldier going for a battle with opponent ones.
So, what now? What have you decided?

I appeared in my last subject board exam yesterday. It was tough.
When I chose arts as my stream , relatives got a strong reason to taunt my parents but I have so understanding parents that they never made me feel that how difficult it was for them
In the end of all exams,I slept.

I'm shocked, I'm in 11th (science) now, I am in this same situation. My 10th board exam was sooo bad especially math, which is still giving me depression and anxiety. But also I love science and trying, trying and trying to progress. 😭 very beautiful video.
