The spiel about affordable eating at the end was truly interesting. I guess as an Aussie kid 40 years ago with a lower-middle class upbringing the 'worst' I ever heard previously was my mum and dads families having lard sandwiches as a treat. Your stories were something I'd never even heard of before.
I ate a brain once. It was probably a sheep's brain. I was in a far off eastern land in a small crumbly cafe in a tiny dusty village. There was a menu written in the squiggly writing. I just pointed at something random. A complete brain came back on a plate. I dared myself to eat it. I ate it. It had a pasty texture. I come from Yorkshire (North England - League of Gentlemen country). Yorkshire cuisine includes pig's trotters, pig's head, tripe (stomach lining). (I think Germany has a similar attitude to pig parts.) So, seeing weird body parts on a plate isn't alien - it's just a cultural thing.
It's interesting how Harry Enfield is so good at sketch shows but just didn't quite cut it at sitcom acting. Neil Morrissey though! This role fit him like a glove. What a handsome chap as well.
We call it chitterlings in the UK. Just like tripe, trotters or sweetbreads it was food of the poor especially in rural areas and is now uncommon unless you have a good butcher. A lot of foodies have made "offal" popular again -- my local supermarket charges the same per lb for oxtail, bones or organmeat as it does good beef
You’re going to enjoy this so much more now Tony has arrived haha. The BBQ episode made me laugh. I won’t say anything else but looking forward to when you get to it
In this role? No. Harry is an excellent comedian, but not a good enough actor to play a single role for an entire season of 30 minute episodes. He is better suited to short sketches.
The new flat mate does bob the builders voice
This is when MBB improves greatly.
I like series 1 but series 2 when Tony shows up is miles better , when the show switches to BBC from series 3 onwards it’s just gold from then on 👍
He's nearly at the end of the whole show on patreon, he's really enjoying it :)
Spots on summary there mate
Same here.
Yep Tony onwards just gets better and better
Yay! This is the actual start of the show.
Yep, didn't even watch the reactions to series 1. This is the proper show. Like Blackadder.
ahhhh THIS is where men behaving badly realllyyyyy begins
Series 3 onwards is gold. Tony turning up is great
My dad loved pigs trotters, grew up 1920s, Lancashire in 1980s still enjoyed. 👵🇬🇧😊
6:55 - "They're both great", he said, meaning all four of them

Men behaving badly gets so much better now.

Why is Dermot in the thumbnail?
If I start this show I always start it from season 2.
This is where MBB becomes legendary
8:53 I recorded this soundclip to use as my alarm IRL! Best. Alarm. Ever.
It gets better now Tony's in it👍😂😂😂❤

Neil Morrissey though! This role fit him like a glove. What a handsome chap as well.
yeh .. sketch shows only require a two dimensional caricature. Morrissey comes across as a natural person here.
In our house we call a fart in the bath a Lewisham jacuzzi after the area of London we lived in, only posh people use the shower head for effect!

Now here we go…..
Now it begins 👍
By the way, that guy with the glasses who says nothing. He is the writer.
I wonder If Dermot or Gary put the no admittance sign on the door?
Crying shame what Leslie Ash did to herself
Yeah, so hot to so not..
What did she do?
@@MichaelM28 : surgery. Most laughably inflated her lips to hilarious size.
The surgery that alot of women think makes them look like a Goddess aka over inflated fish lips
What did she do?
It gets better and better from now 😁
Goated show. A simpler time 😂
*Josh I really wish you’d react to Phoneshop or The Thin Blue Line!!*
your cockup, my arse
Harry Enfield is a much better comedian than Neil Morrissey, but as a fit for the show, it's Tony all the way.
Yeah, Neil had much better chemistry with Martin Clunes.
Harry Einfeld’s a good comedian but not a good actor.
TONEY!!!!!
You’re going to enjoy this so much more now Tony has arrived haha. The BBQ episode made me laugh. I won’t say anything else but looking forward to when you get to it
Thought that was the thunder cat sword.?
In a fair world he'd be shacked up with his "17 year old neice" 👀
The 90s. May as well have been 50 years ago.
Was incest legal in the 90’s?
@@laughingoutloud8612 no, but it was acceptable to make jokes about it's desirability on the highest rated BBC sitcom of time 🤷🏻
@@kildogery well we all know by now the BBC is full of pedophiles and pedophile protectors. 🤮
Series 2 kicks this series off, series 3 on for me are the main ones. They have a few specials also like Jingle bells and last orders
Can we fix it?
I was never into men behaving badly, I just wanted to complain that it takes too long for red dwarf and porridge episodes. 9-10 days at least. 😳
Tony was a much better character than Dermot
You should do more trigger happy tv bro
Nothing wrong with drying your pants in the microwave. If they're wet from washing anyway.
Harry > Neil

Overall, yes. In MBB, no.
Tony gets more pathetic and dumber and funnier as the show goes on
