While the Porsche 917k is a 917K it is not a Le Mans car, but built specifically for Daytona. The window in the roof is so a driver can see above him on the steep banking as cars can actually be above you there.

A good one would have been the 1955 Golden Anniversary Oldsmobile 88 Rocket from the 1975 Burt Reynolds movie "W.W. & the Dixie Dance Kings. The model, Golden Anniversary, was made up for the movie. It was an iconic car though with its gold and black paint job.

@@Robert-y9b4z after doing my research, KITT was a stock firebird. The build added wheels , the light bar, off set turbo hood and a new interior. The builder was Mike Scheffe. The TA's were used by Barris for 2 other KITTs. My info came from Pedro Alvarez, who worked on the original as the interior designer.
I scored a 47. Three of those points I gave myself because they were the Batmobile and the Black Beauty and I didn't remember the make and model of the car. But they're the Batmobile and the Black Beauty and I think that counts. I totally missed 21. Most of those were racing movies or shows after 1990 which I'm not as familiar with. I also missed Risky Business and Ferris Bueler's Day Off even though I shouldn't have. I did spot the Porsche, but was second guessing myself after missing the Ferrari. I was expecting both Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. The Speed Racer car (Mach Five) image is NOT the car 1967 and 1968 at that time it was a cartoon. The picture is from the Speed Racer Movie in 2008 but the movie car wasn't the same as the cartoons. The movie car has a vent behind the upper part of the doors. The original cartoon Mack Five didn't and the movie Mach Five small nub fins or whatever they're called to the rear corner panel of the car and the cartoon version of the car had full length fins spoilers. And the cartoon Mach Five didn't have fancy rocker panels bellow the doors.

Honestly I only got about 75% of the films and TV, Death Race 2000, showing my age. This was great fun. Herbie VW Beetle of course ! The rest I could only manage the films or TV show.

KITT was not a Trans Am. It was a base Firebird.
Thanks - Sometime my research can get away from me with so much info out there, but to be fair, Wiki explains that KITT was a Pontiac Firebird Trans AM. Look out for my next quiz where I will present cars from Sci-Fi movies. I am having fun putting that one together - so many awesome cars!

@@Robert-y9b4z after doing my research, KITT was a stock firebird. The build added wheels , the light bar, off set turbo hood and a new interior. The builder was Mike Scheffe. The TA's were used by Barris for 2 other KITTs. My info came from Pedro Alvarez, who worked on the original as the interior designer.

I scored a 47. Three of those points I gave myself because they were the Batmobile and the Black Beauty and I didn't remember the make and model of the car. But they're the Batmobile and the Black Beauty and I think that counts.
I totally missed 21. Most of those were racing movies or shows after 1990 which I'm not as familiar with. I also missed Risky Business and Ferris Bueler's Day Off even though I shouldn't have. I did spot the Porsche, but was second guessing myself after missing the Ferrari.
I was expecting both Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. I also expected to see a couple of other cars that I would suggest for a sequel:

The Speed Racer car (Mach Five) image is NOT the car 1967 and 1968 at that time it was a cartoon. The picture is from the Speed Racer Movie in 2008 but the movie car wasn't the same as the cartoons. The movie car has a vent behind the upper part of the doors. The original cartoon Mack Five didn't and the movie Mach Five small nub fins or whatever they're called to the rear corner panel of the car and the cartoon version of the car had full length fins spoilers. And the cartoon Mach Five didn't have fancy rocker panels bellow the doors.

Only one? That's a tough question. There's so many I would like, but if I had to choose only one, it would probably be the General Lee. I've been a Dukes Of Hazzard fan since I was 10 years old (I'm 53 now) and the General Lee was my dream car. Still is.@@QuizWizBrainiac
