None of those head sculpts look anything like Walter Jones. It’s really quite criminal how he’s the only mmpr figure that doesn’t look anything like the actor.
OHHH I'VE SEEN RIBBONS LIKE THAT AT 3:10 AT CONS So basically you peel the white part off and it goes onto your badge. I've been to cons where different vendors and panel hosts will give ones out and people try to see how many different ones they can get. I wound up with 10 last year!
If it wasn't for those drop down hinges and that upper torso looseness, I'd go "definitive version don't bother with the first releases". But I also wouldn't suggest breaking the bank getting those old figures. MMPR Black in the last still makes no sense unless the time between planning that wave and thinking about remastered was so spaced out which isn't great. They they rereleased MMPR Red and some other figs makes me raise an eyebrow. As a whole a remastered line is a good idea. It probably should have just been a one and done 6 pack but I know there are probably enough people who just need a few. Me I need double jointed female figs and I'm a tad paranoid about MMPR Green breaking.......the one back in the day did. MMPR Black though is the weird one. It's getting the least upgrades in comparison to the others.
It's a zack attack! On a side note, I always find it funny when characters with black color motifs have to use an obvious bright purple for highlights and attacks because it's not possible to make black glow.
Was hoping you would compare the 3 Zack headsculpts all together in person, not just the pics. I've got armored, but sometimes, and now with remastered, that first release kinda looks like a better Zack head, but in person I feel like armored was better. It's weird. it's so weird. Their MCU headsculpts have gotten better and better but their LC headsculpts are always so hit or miss and it's usually miss...
Yep.. they got me on these... at first I wasn't going to get any, then I was just going to get green and red. But I got blue and yellow when they were on sale on Pulse (getting them for 24ish is much more reasonable than 33-34) and they are better figures. Plus it will be nice to have the entire team updated with all the same little touches on the belts and stuff. But I am going to try to wait to get black and pink at a lower price like I did blue and yellow, I've had red and green preordered for a while now, so I might as well pay full price for them. I kept the packaging from all the first mmpr releases, so I may just put all of those back in their boxes to store them and move the remastered ones to the main display.
Nice figure but very overpriced, especially when you consider the fact in space silver and time force blue came with vehicles, civillian head, and weapons for the same price point. At the very least, hasbro could have at least included civillian heads for both actors (Johnny Yong Bosch aka Adam) to make the price a little more justified. These remastereds just seem like really lazy cashgrabs to me.The helmet is even missing silver paint, it only has 1 silver line when it should have 2. Charging extra money but cant even be fully accurate.
I hate that they’re going on a “break,” I was excited to hopefully get a mmpr movie line/wave. Especially after the ninja rangers and tenga warriors. 😔 Ivan ooze, and the movie suits would have been amazing.

I found all of them from a seller in Malaysia, paid extra but I didn't care!
This unmasked head sculpt kooks closer to Walter than the first sculpt that was on the Dragon Shield suit.

I like the shoulders on this figure and TJ. Sure they look different but now the arms can actually go straight down! That's HUGE!

I kinda hate the idea of a remastered line but now that our line is in hiatus I probably will be getting the whole set just because 😂

Mine came in today and man it’s a little disappointing. Look-wise it looks good, but it is extremely wobbly toward the bottom of the figure.
