The sound coming out of nearly all these foldup or cheap Chinese pianos is poor and tinny, due to the small hopeless speakers. However if you connect the keyboard a via cable via the midi to your PC, and have some decent software and speakers , you can get a bearable sound out then. I have two 61 keys non foldable keyboard that I solely use for note entry to my Notion software. I compose and write the music using the keyboard, which is extremely thin and compact and just fits under my PC monitor. For me this is the best set up. Once I have composed a piece, I then print it out and play it on either one of my proper pianos or my Casio Privia keyboard. One thing for sure, and that is, if you can make an acceptable sound on one of these foldable piano's it sound a lot better on a proper piano!
