This was the best I saw this season. I think they should match these two up again. Also, it is great that Lyoto was able to do this breakdown. Hope he can do more of these.

@@Charlitos1988 Yeah. He has this habit of consistently pronouncing fighters' names wrong on his UA-cam channel. Pretty funny sometimes.

I train at Fearless MMA in the UK (Jake Hadley and Leon Edwards' gym) and more people have started to notice KC as of Season 3

Thanks Lyoto, greetings from Canada, am a big fan of yours. As always you give an excellent fight breakdown. It was a very good fight, very technical bout between to well matched opponents. I have noticed Ferreras tends to back up a lot and is more of a counter fighter. Certan certainly deserved to win that fight, hope to see more of your breakdowns in the future, Osh to you and the Boss

The slopping walls of the pit make it difficult to corner an opponent then infight. I think both fighters could work on their combinations and closing the gap.

Where is the side kick or is it not allowed I've not seen anyone use it yet.... Its the most powerful kick...
Side kicks are allowed I believe Ross Levine used one in his fight
Yeah with no thigh kicks it really should develop to the same meta as the long pants kickboxing.

These karate guys have a terrible approach to boxing..
INDEPENDENT BREAKDOWN. First impression, Black Trunks competitor = same ole kickboxing. Nice athletic kicks,,, not karate. White Trunks competitor... another with boxing hands... no karate to be seen. Black Trunks great counter "timing, (as LM notes), wild boxing brawling form from both. Typical of 'full contact' stylists who seek the full contact over art. Stopped here, since no karate to be found.😫
Because traditional karate punches don't work as well. You can use it once in a blue moon if you combine with an arm drag, but usually not.
@@joshuabrant3487 Hi Josh. Traditional karate punches don't work... that's often true... Why? Because most karateka approach karate as if it is a boxing exercise, kickboxing. What power's karate goes much beyond the boxing form shown by the usual full contact competitor here. Food for though, or not. 🤔 CHEERS.
