What a difference between the two games last night. First Boston fell behind 4-1 and the coach yelled at his bench, pulled the goalie and the team responded by calling it quits, giving up 2 more goals and punching anything in a red jersey. Then later that night, the Canucks also fell behind 4-1, but Tocchet didn't yell, kept everything calm, completely trusted Silovs and his defense and the team responded with a great come from behind win.

I noticed that as well, quite the contrast of approaches
Yeah can’t really compare to a team on the road who hasn’t had a two day break in almost a week and a half vs Canucks game 1 at home after a new 5 day rest swaymen rolling 7 games in a row for the first time is also a big part of that.
Unbelievable to us fans that the Canucks are where they are, yet in reality it's actually not.
Coach Tocch and his excellent assistant coaches have helped build a large structure of staples that the boys have taken to heart.
And now that mindset and belief takes them thru every up and down moment.
Really happy to see this incredible turn around for the Canucks and for us the fans.

Tocc Needs to take them to watch the Blue Devils practice and play a show. 21 titles in 47 years is because of the family atmosphere. go carry six tenor drums and run around a feild playing extremely difficult stuff and not make mistakes. they practice 12 hours a day 6 days a week. (all of the top drum corps do) Bobby Knight the basketball coach took them to see their local corps who was hot in the early 90s. Steve Young goes to watch our home show at Stanford every year. it is a big commitment.
If you really think about it…what couch can actually do this… bring an average at best team from the bottom and flourish to the top…is this even possible…not at all actually…no couch no matter how good they are can transform a team overnight it takes years of work etc…there’s no such thing as overnight success…unless things are fixed in your favour which is proven here….there’s also more to this story that even the Canucks won’t mention, much more

I love what Tocch said about Petey! Listen to the coach, him and his staff are probably the biggest reason the Canucks are where they are. Thank You to the Canucks coaching staff, best in the league! (and The Management!)

I cannot believe I doubted this man and the entire management group when he was hired.
I’m happy to say I was wrong, I can see the vision now, I can’t say I have ever trusted a Canucks management group before.
Hates rollercoasters
The only complaint I have on Tocch is that he doesn’t challenge when he should. Three goals scored against us in the Nashville series would have been overturned.
