If you have the Tirannwn Quiver 3 or 4 equipped you don't have to click on the Seren stone again to begin cleansing it, it becomes automatic. You just have to avoid auto logging out by moving the camera or something.

Another great item with the bonecrusher is the Dragon Rider amulet which doubles experience from dragon type bones. I mostly use it for regular and baby dragon bones in combination with super antifires. This actually saves more than using a notepaper and gilded altar later.
well the altar would be giving more exp but since you arent buying the bone/notepaper ya that does sound pretty even for cost. why not try doing blue dragons if your only after regular bones? i only have a whip for a one hander and i dont even bother bringing food when i hunt them since they barely hurt me enough to care. just gotta take some time to regen/rest every dozen or so.
I use it on all dragon tasks(at least that give normal dragon bones) in combination with super antifire. this allows me to not take any damage which is great
spamming cleansing crystal ( not waiting for them, just spam for the initial xp ) during a hefin hour with max buffs during a double xp weekend is only about 25 gp per xp and can be up to 6-7m xp per hour.

Tip: cleansing crystals in your inventory will be used automatically when wearing the Tirannwn quiver 3. This makes it way more afk. If you stock up on cleansing crystals before dxpw you can afk the hell out of prayer (make sure not to log out).
nice guide! very in depth as usual, but you didn't mention the alternate method with cleansing crystals, the powering method where you skip the animation and small xp drops and just spam use crystals like the ecto for massive xp

For getting ecto tokens, one should really not use ashes rather than bones, since you don't have to grind up the ashes before using them saving soooo much time
great video! however i am surprised you did not mention using the bone crusher with an auto-sanctifier, invention made at level 70, 10 marrentill, 1 pious parts (disassemble shades is how i usually get them), 80 spirit parts, 40 cover parts.... each one has 50 charges and go in the pocket slot, provides 250% xp per bone buried or ash scattered!
I just like giving an overview of most things in a 1-99 guide, stuff like that can take a ton of time to explain and make the video longer than it needs to be. It could be a video all in itself kinda thing.

That prayer altar host was hosting when i was going for 99 prayer about 5 to 7 months ago. Btw it's faster to teleport to al kharid using the glory instead of edge. Great guide tho.

Nice guide! What about burying dragon bones with the Dragon Rider Amulet? It should be pretty fast xp (well over 700k xp/hr) as well as roughly 10-12 gp/xp.
I'm actually doing the chaos alter with harden dragon bones and the best way I found out to insure you don't get pk'd is to just hop into a world that is low in population preferably the lowest one and go to the wild then. It insures that you wont lose your items from someone attacking you plus you can stay here for long periods of time without like I said worrying about someone coming around
If you stock pile the cleansing crystals and spam click cleanse the xp is rediculos. Not sure how long it would take to buy that many but you could fletch or something while you wait. Insanely expensive though. But it is an option

You can actually get over 2.5m xp an hour from cleansing crystals if you use new ones after the first xp drop. this is 52-53gp per xp, and much faster than anything else. With voice of seren and other xp boosts at dxp, you can get from 1-99 prayer in just over 2 hours..
well i been a member for over a couple years now so i get 30k a month, so 111k is basically 4 months of waiting. since i pretty much am using my lp to buy auras saving a couple months to get the final harmony (cause guthix is best) aura isnt too bad. just wish you could make the wings an override. for me i only have war tortoise for bob, the full first age set, and can get prayer juju potions. would it be better to use my own guilded altar without burners or the ectofuntus?
Didn't mention using your own guilded alter with house tele and BOB for better rates, it's much faster and may have even been better than noting in wildy
Maikeru RS I know that prayer runs are quite slow however using house tele inside your own could save you around 10 seconds a run as you are able to skip one whole load screen by teleporting directly to your house instead of yanille to house, also saves effort as you don't have to right click portal for guest option, even so 10 ish seconds a run can really add up when going for 99.
I was planning on trying the infernal ashes unnote method and completed all hard tasks, yet I'm unable to unnote them at harrison. Am I missing something? Or is this outdated?

Make sure to look that you have all easy/medium and hard tasks done, you need to do all the previous tiers too in order to fully unlock stuff. wikia has each different person you need to speak to for your rewards too, as its not just Quercus

I notice you don't mention Cremation : +250% xp/bone when burned on a fire+ firemaking xp(not +250%, but like with big bones you get 30 fm xp, and even more with bigger bones). Cremation is a skill drop from any ghost.

Gp/xp is the main thing needed while calculating how much things will cost. 1m at 5gp/xp will be 5m, whereas 15gp/xp would cost 15m. So then you can weigh the xp vs the cost easier.

It's so funny how everyone complains about how expensive 99 prayer is. I got 99 prayer 100% free by doing pest control back in 2008. I'm so happy I never had to deal with alters or bones. :-)
Prayer isn't that bad. Smithing is the the most expensive if you're trying to do it semi-fast. Herblore is also super expensive if you're using the fastest methods, but at least the mid-tier methods are pretty cheap.

It's so funny how everyone complains about how expensive 99 prayer is. I got 99 prayer 100% free by doing pest control back in 2008. I'm so happy I never had to deal with alters or bones. :-)
Prayer isn't that bad. Smithing is the the most expensive if you're trying to do it semi-fast. Herblore is also super expensive if you're using the fastest methods, but at least the mid-tier methods are pretty cheap.
