My favorite part about Lowe's clearance section is that sometimes they sell just the pots for $1 each, which is a great deal!
We took my grandson to a reptile show at one of our local nurseries this morning. I came home with a Hoya Retusa (which I’ve been wanting for a couple of years) and a Ficus Shivereana Moonlight 💚
Yes buy the tulips. One of every color. Next fall you can plant around your house where they will get full sun in the spring. Along your sidewalk?
I'm so jealous of the selection at your box stores! In Washington we are still too cold, and I think we won't get some of these options for a while. I LOVE strawberry begonias and I would love to see a scindapsus ay my Lowes.
I found both a ficus benjamina white on green variegated and one that was light green on a darker green. Needless to say I got them both. lol. Good luck finding your variegated maranta and that alocasia was beautiful.
Get the variegated peace lily. You won’t regret it.

Nice shopping trip. Just wondering, do you like ponytail palms? I’ve had one since 2016 I believe and last summer I repotted it and was rewarded by a lot of growth during the warm months. A few weeks ago I stumbled upon some ponytails at a Sam’s Club. Healthy, vibrant plants and quite large for just $17. Beautiful ponytails. Didn’t buy one because I doubted I had a place to keep it. I’m still kicking myself for that poor decision. Oh well. Thanks for another fun video.

I’m downsizing rn-eliminating 2 tiered stands and some the plants. It’s hard but just had to be done. Not many videos on eliminating it seems.

@@chelsieandbaby6 nothing exciting really- few cactuses, a smaller syngonium, Christmas cactus, a pothos. I put my big monstera outside too 🤷♀️

Has anyone told you that your voice is so calming? I love hearing you talk. I hope that isn’t weird. But I LOVE when you go shopping and show what is available at your stores. I feel like what is available on your stores are similar to mine and we are in a completely different state! I’m in NC! I’m in search of a peperomia that is preferably variegated. That one you saw at Lowe’s is gorgeous. I’m going to look for one that is similar to that one!!

Edit: if that alocasia is marked Kalo, then it’s marked incorrectly. Kalo is the Hawaiian word for taro (taro root), and that’s a colocasia :)

That giant Alocasia you showed at the end! I bought one a couple weeks ago because my Costco got them in. Mine is called Alocasia Wentii (what it said on the label anyway) but it looks EXACTLY the same and huge leafy boii 😊
They were beautiful! I was tempted to get one. Maybe once it warms out a bit more I'll get one for outside if they still have them lol

We want to do some outdoor landscaping but maybe we'll do some this year! We moved in last April so didn't get a chance to yet :)
Buy the bop. And split up the two for separate, then you’ll have two pots of them.
They're very stress sensitive if you repot or try to separate!
The water plants are for aquariums. Aren't they awesome?💚

Melissa i hear people talking about perilite large nugget. Is just plain miracle grow perilite ok
There is coarse perlite that can be purchased...depends on 🪴..some plants like a more open soil mixture..like aroids, hoya, succulents, etc. Whereas, calatheas or plants that want to hold onto water, regular perlite, would be fine.
I use miracle grow perlite in my mix and I love it 💗
What about the pot you want? Did you look at the prices?
