Moshe you are so lucky. Employed in your chosen field, a gorgeous funny wife and child, count your blessings and pick your battles. That $20 shit stops now. If you don't like it, grin and bare it , it's the cheapest thing you can do if that helps.
Spend the $20! Seriously, think about how much you've saved being home for the past year. $20 to make your wife happy is so worth it too!
$20 for one movie is high but I have to say I'm team Natasha on this one. if we don't get to enjoy our money, why work?
Agreed. I have the same relationship dynamic with my partner and I can tell you, it gets annoying af being told how to spend "our" money bc he doesn't see the same value on things that make me happy.
@@rachels1957 It took me years to come around. I hope your partner does too! Life is happier this way
Natasha is right. It’s desperate times, have fun!
Moshe...happy wife happy life
Natasha is right, as always. My wife and I had the same conversation about the last Tom Hanks movie, News of the World. Tom Hanks is her favorite actor. She didn't want to pay the $20.
I said, We would pay $40 at the theater. So we got it.
It came out on Netflix 2 weeks later.
So maybe Moesha was right, Idk.
Best episode! Ever! ... Have loved Fran Lebowitz since the early 80's but never imagined she'd be so engaging in the Moshe/Natasha milieux. Thoroughly enjoyable.
You both are my Covid-Rescue...I even enjoy the inflation stuff...good Lord
Best regards from Hamburg
I love the money talk! Please keep it up! Moshe, the reason why billionaires care about the generational wealth is because they’re not just thinking about the next generation and that’s it, they’re at least thinking 4 generations out. Natasha I took it’s fascinating that you got to learn about what it’s like for billie goats in their life, there are lessons there. Warren Buffet says majority of people don’t understand inflation. But we’re not at the mercy of this financial system, we can make political choices to switch up how money is distributed and how tax laws work. Money trickles up, not down, so how can we redistribute our resources where less poor, working-class and middle class people are being over taxed and under earning from the start. This can be addressed if people start voting In Their interest more and stop aligning with self serving corporate backed bills. There’s enough money on the planet for everyone to have $1 billion each. Are you getting your share? That’s where Bernie lost people. I really wanted him to win for the good of everyone, but he was very anti billionaire, when really, he could have appealed to more fiscally ambitious people by saying there’s enough for everyone to be one, let’s even the playing field!
Also, is $5.99 a rental peak 90s Blockbuster Video equivalent to the natural inflation rate of a $20 digital rental?
If you’re worried about $20, you have much more than a $20 problem
Tbh I enjoyed the inflation talk. I’d rather hear Moshe explain the things I didn’t learn in school than some dry ass corpse WITHOUT a man bun.
Totally agree!
Hilarious. I have the exact same Ds9 ritual before bed.
Moshe I wasn't bored with you talking about inflation. But for sure Tash was 😄
Love the set
That ending convo about “love language” 😂
Deng natasha came in spicy in the beginning grab some oatmilk to cool this one down
I'm exactly like Moshe: I won't pay $20 for new movies. I'm not even a $5.99 guy. When I've seen everything, I read a book. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
A female part written by a man IS different
I'm also from Toronto (area) and the 40 hours volunteering is such BS. I knew so many people who just got a family member or family friend to sign off on it without any volunteering being done. Mandatory volunteering just seems like an oxymoron and political pandering to Boomers to make young people "pull up their boot straps" (I've also never met one who believes mandatory volunteer work should apply to them as well.)
However, I also know of really strict HR people and hiring managers who will check your resume info, so if she ever wants to move up further, this can bite her in the ass.
Cute stuffs
Equity in my house subtract debts and my net worth is about $4g's. Tbh I feel wealthy as fuq these days
Oh also, I'd pay $20 for a movie cuz it'll just blend into the credit card debt unnoticed lol. Living it up
I didn't turn the podcast off.
5.99 is some 1995 rental prices
and everything's more effient now. with no physical cost shouldered by the consumer..
I’m with Moshe, $20 is insane... but I AM poor - so ?
$20 is not a lot for a movie
We've got a one percenter over here
@@AB-gk7to In my day...
@@robnorwood3591actually I'm a young millennial so you should have told me to stop spending all my money on avocado toast if I want to be able to afford to rent movies
@@AB-gk7to I love avocado toast. You do you.
There are ways of getting movies at a 100% discount 🤣
I agree she should do 40 hours!
Clear the karma💫
I think you maybe need to spend a wee bit of time apart from each other💜💜
The upload on apple pods is only like a minute long
Secret Steamer
Moshe, if you don't care about supporting Disney (the evil overlord of fucking everything) just download this shit!!!😝😂😎
The high school non graduate could’ve explained everything in two sentences...... 🤨
More secret less whatever happened before the secrets starts 🤝🤝
20$ is nothing.
Sorry Moshe, THE WEST WING is FULL to the brim with casual sexism. Almost every episode. Rewatching for like the 6th time, this time with my 15 year old who points all of it out , all of the time. Im horrified I didnt really notice the first 5 times.
Get off ur phone mo
;)
FIRST!!
This is the same argument my wife and I have...
The thick glasses and economic discussion is great!
Didn’t miss anything. The movie is unwatchable. It’s seems to be random improv stitched together into a movie with barely a plot.
Dude! Respect your queen! Rent the film. Save pennies on your hipster mustache conditioning oil. And lose the manbun. So sad.
