Wow! The tune I remember the most was Enchantress. And the reason was that it was what got airplay on WNSB back when that radio station played jazz. That was you? Awesome! You were definitely punchin it up on that bass! I'll definitely make sure to check out the rest of the album

Great interview...respect to Lonnie a Giant of Jazz Fusion and loved here in the UK. I am really hoping someone can interview his brother Donald Smith who has one of the greatest male voices in muzik as far as i'm concerned and transforms and adds to his brother's tracks in outstanding fashion.

Had to comment twice. At like the 25 mark when he starts playing his new spin on garden of peace was incredible. So dope how hip hop samples exposed a lot of the younger generation to his music, me included, and due to the hip hop samples he was inspired to "remix" his own work. I loved that as a hip hop head but more so as a fan of music in general.

      Own them both
Found Visions for 25 cents years ago whilst digging through a crate in a pawn shop. Had never heard of Lonnie prior to that, shamefully..
Saw the cover, read a few credits in the back, read fender rhodes and thought this has to be good..
To this day Visions stands as a top 5 album amidst thousands of records owned.
      So unique..
Share your sentiments on both albums, but Visions will stand on its own 100 years from now
      Undervalued and promoted artist
I was shocked I stumbled across him by sheer accident

ETERNAL SOUL with the most impeccable notes. really good video. its so nice to be able to see the legend talk about the jazz scene and the reaction to the crate diggers and samples. it is crazy to have that eternal music speaking to the masses.
