The duck in the diaper is Baby Daffy Duck of Looney Tunes fame. Disney's ducks, Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie were drawn identically, and identified by the color of their caps.
I was going to post exactly the same thing. LOL Disney would sue them for this video if it was one of their properties,
I think it's baby Plucky Duck from Tiny Toons. But yeah, definitely not Huey Dewey or Louie.
cool you mentioned Shango👍
I remember in the early 80s. The technician of the arcade took out the nails to avoid we save the ball trought the line out. The machine was allways in 10 credits ...pac pac pac !
That's a great game. That kicker gives us mere mortals a chance.
Always liked horseshoe shots. Watched the video so long that I had to play my playboy pinball machine as I was watching.
Is "Matt...will you please shut up?" going to be on the next wave of t-shirts?? 😅
In some parts it could be more popular than "Shut up, Wesley".
😂 😂
👌😄👍
I've had this machine for the last 20 years in storage and am just getting around to restoring it. Last time I powered it on about 10 years ago had a permanent tilt, so I put it away till I could get around to really looking at it. Left it it a non temperature controlled garage and pulled it out yesterday. Now the power to cable has an open on the hot side, so time to go over what else might be wrong so I don't smoke something that I can't replace anymore.
Thanks for all your knowledge. greatly appreciated.
A real players game this one,noisey,colourful..amazing artwork and unrivalled gameplay ,whats not to like..Definitely in my list of Top games..🙏Thank you guys x
Thank you for watching Saskia!
@@LyonsArcade always a pleasure guys,keepin it real 🙏x
It is so nice to hear those familiar noises that machine makes. I put a lot of time on that game and became a master at sniping the SILVERBALL feature when it only had a letter or two left to go. Fun fact about the horseshoe, it originally came with two pins with small rubbers at the entrance but Bally issued a service bulletin to replace them with the posts that are there now. The horseshoe is a relatively easy shot but I can imagine with those smaller pins it was almost automatic.
"Cuz then you can film this one blowing up!"
Such a RINGING endorsement of confidence from a coworker, Ron! 😂
Can't be any worse than the guy who overloaded and SPLIT his foam B-2 bomber RC plane in half the other day!
It's probably cheaper to replace a large circuit board than an RC flying wing bomber!
In this way Joe can add a fault note of "It's broke... again"
I haven't seen this pinball game since the late 80s. Thanks for showing it.
Thanks so much for fixing this table, loved the sounds so much, especially when counting down bonus.
Got mine about 15 years ago for a bargain price. Seller just wanted it out of his basement. Replaced some lights and most of the rubber. Works like a champ. Tons of fun to play.
This machine came out the year I started college. This was one of the nine machines in our college game room and it was extremely popular - fun to play and a great earner. (That is when we were not running up credits on it!)
Shorted slingshot switches ... nice tongue twister!
I don't know why I was thinking all those Silverball Mania lights equaled balls in multiball. But that center kickback is really cool!
Great work as usual Ronnie. This game looks like it’s gonna be great for home use. Really good games give a chance to novice players as well as experienced players. This game seems like it has that delicate balance. A fun few videos of this Bally winner.
Powerful bumpers in that one!
Cool game. Like the spinner shot.
Trying to start pinball services in Colorado Springs co inspired by these videos.
When the ball goes through the top middle rollover, the kicker should be active. When you go through the horseshoe, the kicker should be active. When the 2 orange lights at the bottom are flashing, the kicker should be active.
Didn't realize it was illegal for minors to play pinball in SC. Loved hearing your take on the payout schemes in the 70s and 80s. Would like to hear you talk about the details on protecting youth from bingo pinballs of the past.
We've talked about it a few times but I don't remember what video it was! Thanks for watching ShatteredNerves!
The grey capacitor date code is 8046. 46th week of 1980.
Are you going to lower the voltages of the displays to kind of save them so they don't get any worse? Looks like a fun one. To bad no music on it.
Shango is the kingpin of datecodeology
I think the little duck on the pop bumper cap is Baby Daffy!
Great repair series. Very enjoyable to watch. Liked and shared. All my best.
It is a very cool game
Always loved this game because the ball moves pretty darn quick. Like Space Invaders, match was always odd.
I love that game and would love to buy one.
In the words of shango066, “BAKED!” Another great video, thanks!
Another beauty rescued!
Friday mid morning and a new video. I know what I'm doing for the next hour
Thank you for watching Weekend Warrior!
Shango would say those coils were “Baked”.
I'm getting ready to install a Hardtop on my Silverball Mania , and resin printed new inserts. I have already installed all LEDS with new light driver board , and new LED displays and on the horseshoe shot you put two rubbers on each post makes it hard to get the horseshoe shot
I got my buddy one of there looked perfect GREAT backglass! untested for 800 he cleaned it new rubbers and plugged it in BOOM working!
great game
I had to look up that sticker. That's baby Daffy Duck. I thought he was a different related character
On the previous video you talked about the outgassing of an alkaline battery. And I was told that the outgassing can actually eat away at the components in the machine. I was skeptical and did not believe it until one day someone wanted to purchase an old Hess truck I had saved in my basement and when I opened the Box the battery was still in it and the Outgassing ate all the paint off Is and yellowed all the plastic .
I always thought it was just what the alkaline leaks and touches, but yeah apparently it outgasses too!
Hay I watch Sanngo to he is the TV radio repair dude. the things that guy has fixed .
Tell your customer to sell this pin to me. I'm seriously in the market for Silverball Mania. In NC too! :)
That reminds me of what an algebra teacher mentioned. When you use quadradic equations in word problems, you will end up with 2 answers, and 1 will be wrong. Like if you get 4 and -2, and you know the negative answer doesn't fit the context. That is called extraneous. Well, some students would call the other answer "extra anus."
And yeah, when a damping diode is used, you want to have the + across the cathode band. Using liberties here, the + "comes out" there and doesn't "go in." (Yes, I know the power actually flows the other way.) So you want the diode to never conduct if you can help it, or you'd have a dead short. If you reverse the wires, the power only goes through the diode, thus giving you a dead short. When diodes are across coils like that, it is to protect things upstream from the "flyback" effect of the coils discharging. Thus the diode absorbs that one high-voltage pulse that comes off of the coils when the power is removed.
love the sounds
MATT! My god, seriously. 🤣😉
When the spinner is lit, the lights alternate when the bottom kickers are hit.
That's Plucky Duck from Tiny Toon Adventures. "Blue ball go don de hol." or in this case "Silver ball go down de hol."
Everyone is camers shy but Donnie....😂
Hey Ron!! I use a hammer on unthreaded screws. JS
Love that game in 80$i spend lots money on it I go down town philly sell games.....love it hi the horse shoe s mush as u can
The machine should have had a label about the correct fuse, right next to the fuse socket. Maybe somebody overfused it because they didn't know what it was supposed to take.
Great video! However...
Huey, Deuey, and Louey are white ducks. That duck is probably some Tiny Toons version of Daffy Duck.
Black ducks matter!! 😆
The bottom of that cabinet needs shag carpet!
Absolutely! But everything needs Shag Carpet!
What does it cost to repair a machine like this in this state?
This one was about $500
If the diode fails by opening up, it could cause the driver transistor to short out.
Simple question: If a solenoid locking on will cause it to burn up in a fairly short period of time, why don't the solenoids in the flippers do the same?
No, because flipper coils are actually 2 coils in 1. The high voltage coil is for the initial flip, and then the low voltage coil kicks in to hold the flipper :)
Hey Ron, thanks for all your videos. May I ask what is the best oil to use on the trackball bearings of a Centipede cabinet. I would definitely appreciate your expert help.❤️
Sewing machine oil or 3 in 1 oil.
@Rod's Pinball Videos Awesome, thanks for answering Rod. Just wasn't sure if I should use silicone or conventional oil. I appreciate your help. ❤️
@@LisaMontgomery79 You're most welcome. I surprised my with with a centipede cabinet around 10 years ago for her birthday. She still loves it 😎
@Rod's Pinball Videos That was very sweet. Centipede and Ms. Pacman are my favorites. Well, I guess no surprise there, right? Most women loves Centipede, Ms Pacman, and Frogger.😊
@@LisaMontgomery79 Absolutely! My wife loves Bomb Jack as well. She beats me every time, as I'm hopeless at it 😂
poor matt xD

Hello Lil Everette!
Anyone else watch the actual gameplay and involuntary flex the leg muscle when the ball approaches the flippers as if you're playing it? Haven't played one for probably 30 years but the muscle memory is still there 😂
@@paulcarrick6225 30 years? Find a pin and play it again!
Love me not love it love me not love it❤
Have you thought about working on old organs? Apparently, they use to use the same EM switches that pinball machines use. (ua-cam.com/video/USdQiVSOtQM/v-deo.html)
I've got an early solid state one that's about half destroyed but no I've never worked on them much....
that is daffy duck from looney tunes. donnald duck nephews huey, dewey, and louie are white
A Bally game with no inuendo? This game must have been designed when everyone at Bally was in Cabo sampling the Peruvian marching dust.
doesn't this game look alot like space invaders?
What is donny,s channel called please 🙏
Poor Matt, should file a "work place harrassment notice" with Joe ;).That or just troll Ron later, maybe hide his meter, yes that seems about right xD. Unlike you to be such a meanie Ron *tisk tisk*! (yeah I know your just trolling Matt in a "comic" way, but I'm totally on the side of the Matt here).
If Matt is not an employee, then workplace harassment doesn't apply.
