God bless Dominick and Maria and God bless the Hot Grill
Best hotdogs in nj. My children are 4th generation customers there
Legacy!
Best hot dogs I've ever had. Nice to see some of the behind the scenes.
The reason I started INSAHD! is so that places would take me in the back LOL
I’ve been going here since 1968 it’s the best
Looks good but I wish you would cover more of the food, the sauce looked really interesting.
One frenchie, one! Two all the way, two! Always cracked me up.
Yes I love the local lingo!
another great video Mark
Thanks!!!
I grew up in North Jersey eating these with the incredible chili sauce. 2 ALL THE WAY 2!!
Gotta love the lingo!!!!
Does anyone know what kind of bread they add to their chili sauce to thinken it?
No clue, sorry.
They don't use bread to thicken it. It's all finely chopped ground beef. I've heard some recipes add finely chopped hot dogs to the chili
Some use 'Cracker Meal', and there are some that use a Flour & Beef Stock slurry, and there are some that use 50/50 with A.P. Flour & Maseca Corn Flour, and some use Corn Starch etc..etc..
Such amazing Chili Sauces all across this country.
@@chilidog1 Thank You
No they use bread period. I'm Sportelli grandson I know this for a fact. Seen it with my own two eyes. Why dies it matter may I ask?
I used to come twice a week. Now the prices are through the roof with the new owners. How I wish Carmine and Dominic would’ve sold to someone else .
I hadn't heard they sold. I will say that the phenomenon is not unique. Prices are up wherever you go!
Is John, Mark, Shawn
....? You mean jawn?
What are those balls inside the chili at 3:35?
Not sure!
Are you coming to lennys on street rd?
LOL
not balls, those are bubbles from a bubbling steam kettle of chili sauce

Awesome List!!!!
Had a bad expirience in Johnny and Hanges and I will NEVER be back.
@@AllySmiles201 I've never had any issues on any orders.
The Dover Grill never gets any love but I think it’s one of the best. Thoughts?
Horrible. It tastes and smells like Indian food. Terrible taste. When people compare this to rutts hutt or jimmy buffs its like comparing lasagna to a bowl of cheerios. I have lived northern nj all my life. In my 50’s now. And I never tasted a worse experience.
To each his own! This is a classic Greek chili recipe.
that's how I felt when I moved just a few blocks away from them, but as time went by, I start loving them. In fact, I still drive them every day and I will be stoping by maybe today.
Rutts hut and Jimmy buffs is totally different and NOT known for their chili sauce. This place is legendary in North Jersey
Around since 1961-2021. All the returning customers which are astounding over the years would tell you to go get bent....
