    I got this canner almost identical to this it’s a presto 1940s pressure canner. I used it also…. With barkeepers and it looks amazing. Mine actually works. I have new pressure gauges and stuff but, yesss

    Mine is older with nut on lid handle that's rattling around between the layers. Darn, I loved using it.

    I have one of these old canners. My grandma gave it to me. We have been using it and it does great. I'm in search of information on the numbers on the bottom of the pot. If anyone knows, I'd love the answer! Thank you!

    Great video and great information.. I probably would have used bar keepers friend then mothers. Nevertheless you get that looking beautiful..

    might not want to move lid around by using the gauge - and might be able to have gauge tested at a hardware store
    whatever Aluna cleaning pads is is what they used to suggest for cleaning it - do you have idea what good substitute would be?

      I would suggest SOS but wear gloves, aluminum in the blood can cause parkensons and altzheimers.
