I feel like people follow trends and social norms is what it is and everyone is afraid to be themselves vs being independent and work what you want to accomplish in your own lifetime life is too short for bs jobs.
I’ve made this mistake before. Had a job where I was making great money, making the company even more, and my wife and I were expecting the birth of our son when it all went to shit. Wife had just quit her job to be a full time mom, just went on our baby moon Vaca, and when I get back home, the second I got back to work I got a call and was unexpectedly laid off. No reason. No more income. Lost the ability to provide for my new baby, family, and insurance on top of. Good times lol
Loved the take in this video. Definitely it shows a lot of maturity and if more people saw life the way you do, the world would definitely be a happier place. I know everyone’s circumstances are different, but this modern world has pushed some standards on us that are just close to impossible to live up to without sacrificing the real things that matter. I’m genuinely happy for you, and I hope you get that job!
Hey thank you! That means a lot! I been going after my passions and goals and I am making money from my main channel. I feel pretty satisfied with where I'm at with my life. I cut back on spending and I'm definitely happier despite having less money.
6:10 Simple i do my job instead sitting there pretending i did my job the whole time which unfortunately gets you paid less than everyone else. Plus since everyone else is doing less than the bare minimum they are also secretly going to hate you because they think you are trying to make them look bad. When in reality your just doing what your supposed to do for that job. Its always been interesting to me & one of those things that are fairly basic across all jobs.
I feel like this video will hit the algorithm and take off…anyway, I’ve been feeling this a lot lately. Started a finance job 3 months ago after leaving a marketing job i was relatively content with thinking the grass was greener, but I haven’t been enjoying yet. Yea, I know 3 months isn’t a large sample size, but so far it just doesn’t interest me. Weighing my options on sticking it out for longer and sucking it up at the expense of my mental health, or just start applying for something I may be more interested in. Currently 24, yea I know I make a good salary and yea I know the job seems like nice resumé padding, but man this is hard…
McDonald's is actually a very fast paced environment where you can learn tons of skills that will help you in other jobs even those not at a restaurant. You learn people skills, how to manage time efficiently with "side" tasks you are expected to do while performing at your work station, you learn food handling skills , you learn how to thrive in a fast paced workplace, you learn how to dress professionally and more. Kinda liking the thought of content creators doing commentary style MW2 videos again lol
I'd rather be homeless in a tent again playing my guitar than ever work another 9-5, or 12 hour or 16 hour shift. Companies can get fucked, I'm trying to live my way, not die by their rules.
Low key, I have bigger respect for people that worked at McDonalds than a full time content creator / streamer that never worked an actual day job in their life. I'm on a situation where I made a mistake investing on something an asset that's related for my channel only for my competition to axe my pay drastically where I'm clawing my way to making payments for it while working two jobs. If I relied on UA-cam alone, I'll basically be done and end up homeless. My jobs help fund for rent and my passion project but I'm on a crazy catch 22 where I feel like I don't feel appreciated enough as a UA-camr, but my 2 other jobs don't give me enough time to make passion project videos for my channel.
Yeah I'm glad I worked a couple jobs. It really humbles you and if I ever have any of my channels take off. I'll forever be grateful and always respect those who work hard to make a paycheck. Everyone has to work of some kind so why look down at others? The job market here has been so bad and I'm thankful I don't have any children to provide for while being in this mess lol
@@AmaryxGamesYT Due to what I've been through, and resentment towards peers especially with how cut-throat most UA-camr niches are, having to overcome one's struggle is a major way to earn my respect but that's just my opinion. I have seen influencer kids that look down on people that work at the fast food industry but the way I see it is that it's a good stepping stone on how to deal with people. There's even a streamer looking at a clip of a POV McDonalds clip saying "This job doesn't look fun at all!" I would focus on yourself first before anyone else because once you have children it's not about you anymore.
Yeah I don't think I want children. I have nieces and nephews and being has been more than good enough for me. It could be a topic for me talk about in the future but idk for all the horrible things I seen in this world already. I wouldn't wanna put my children through that mess

Damn that sounds terrible man. I'm sorry!
Spot on💯
True. Every job matters. Don’t let others define you. Ask yourself the tough questions. Peace y’all.
