I live in western Kansas; not the most scenic place to ride but I gotta say... I love it just because I get to ride it. I experience it in ways that very seldom people do. They are missing out. Sometimes the best rides are unplanned; just throw a leg over and ride, no Google maps, no plan. "The best roads of all, are the ones that aren't certain."
I owned motorcycles in the past. Your channel is making me long for one again. Those "nothing to do, nowhere to go" rides are the best. Just having fun, just enjoying it. Man oh man, stirs things up.
Couldn't agree more with the theme here. It's just about starting to feel like Spring here in Ireland and although it's been wet, it's mild. As I rode yesterday (it was dry ) and thouugt about other friends who escape to Spain at this time of the year , I realised I couldn't be happier than just riding my bike.
Another wonderful video, bug. Anything else I could say would be superfluous. The meaningful stuff, the insightful stuff, was already said by you and by your images. Bravo!
Smells.. I like the intensity of smells when riding.. Especially in fresh cold spring mornings, sun shining but cold, when pass next to blossoming tree... When it hits... Love riding, love life. ❤
There's nothing like a fresh cold spring morning. Also, right after a rain shower. And. I have an odd one. I LOVE the smell of laundry when a dryer is running...
I just stumbled onto your channel. Beautiful filming, subtle music and the perfect narrative. Motorcycles ridden like this are the perfect way to decompress from the stresses going on in our lives. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Amazing, sir. That is it. That is exactly what I ride for. A perfect day. I guess it's not ALL I ride for. Taking the bike can transform a grind down the freeway on an errand into an adventure.
Watching your video cruising on the T120 truly brings a smile to my face, especially from my snowy vantage point here in Sweden. I've still got about a month to go before I can even think about taking my own bike out. Your videos have not only been a joy to watch but have also cemented my decision to fulfill my dream of owning a Bonneville T120 myself. I’m 55 this year and it’s time to stop making excuses and get my dream bike. I will go to the dealership this week and place an order! Your passion for riding is contagious, and I can't wait for the season to start here. Keep sharing these wonderful videos. They are a great inspiration for those of us counting down the days until we can hit the road again. Cheers from a soon-to-be fellow T120 rider!
Nice video Bug. I really enjoy your content, glad to see this channel grow. Took a long ride with a buddy, he rides a Triumph T100. It was awesome around the Temecula area. Ride safe!
'not only does beauty hide in some of the most unlikely places but, if you don't look hard enough, you'll find it' - I click for the bike and the scenery. I subscribe for that kind of comment.👍
I live in North Wales, the Snowdonia mountain range is my back yard. I love just wandering out and exploring. Like you say you don't have to go far to find interesting places. Just getting out on the Triumph and meandering is bliss 😎👍
Me too, I live just outside of Llangollen up a little mountain. So many fantastic cycle and motorcycle roads and routes when the weather allows. Snowdonia, Llangollen, Flintshire, Denbigh and the coast all within half an hour to an hour on the motorbike away. Spoilt ❤ just need it to stop raining to be able to get out and enjoy.
Hi, just found your channel…loved this vid, and in particular, your previous vid, Ride While you still can….never truer words…I had a scare a few years back and didn’t know if I’d be able to ride again….that was the most difficult thing about it all…fortunately, and with a year of recovery and good docs and medication, I could ride again, taking it slow, one ride at a time…I’d never been more grateful or appreciative of getting on my motorcycle EVER, …all the best, from Andy, in Wales in the UK…always loved Wales, the riding is spectacular, and I’m lucky to have moved here 1 year ago…Cheers, Andy
Nice relaxed pace to your videos Bug, especially for isolated people or those with stressful lives it’s important to get out and ride, riding is a form of meditation and the motorcycling community is always at hand with friendly camaraderie wherever we go 👍 I’m usually stressed out by my work but hitting the road on any one of my bikes has that stress melt away within minutes, just heading out and getting lost in the countryside is the way to go 👍
I just found your channel, and I love it! I am curious, how do you keep your audio so perfect, without wind noise? Are you using a microphone inside your helmet or add audio later?
Thank you! I use two different ways. The first way, I take my DJI Mic 2 and tuck it under my chin, magneted to the chin wind guard thing on my Shoei. Or, like I did in this one, I run a lav mic into the helmet, right next to my cheek, and plug that into the DJI Mic 2. The first method is really easy, the second is not as easy, but still pretty simple, and I think it gives the audio a bit more depth.
@@adventureundone Both, actually. Depends on the day. Sometimes I'll just tuck the Dji Mic 2 under my chin and magnet it to the chin guard thingie of my Shoei RF1400. This is quick and convenient, but can get irritating because I can feel it under my chin. Other times, like in this video, I run a wired lav into my helmet, right next to my cheek, and plug that into the DJI Mic 2. I like that sound a bit better, but just depends on my mood...
This is east-ish of Portland, Oregon (I said south in the video description but I was incorrect) near a little town called Cottrell, roughly near Oxbow Regional Park.
In the noughties I had a very stressful job in quite a hostile environment mostly 6 days a week and between 10 and 14 hours a day, the only thing that kept me sane was the 20 mile ride to and from work. This was commuting into London or its environs, you had to concentrate 100% all the time because everyone else was trying to hurt or even kill you. The fact of having to concentrate so hard meant that all the issues arising or about to fall on you had to be put out of your mind. Doing something where you felt competent and where you could predict (most times) the outcome lead to being able to switch off from work when I got home and to an inner peace.

That's the best way to ride, no special plan just ride and see what you find. Looked like a really nice spot👍
This channel is just severely under rated
Thanks for saying that!

Go get at it, get that bike. You won't be on your death bed saying, "I rode my motorcycle too much".
I love positive chill motorcycle videos like this, they make me want to ride more then any other kinds of

I'm gonna buy you a really nice non-alcoholic beer when we finally meet!
Hell, I'll even spring for a REAL beer.
You're too, too kind, sir! 😉

Good luck and early congrats on your new motorcycle. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. What color scheme are you going with?
@@BugMotoChannel I think I will go for black with graphite paint. I’m not a big fan of polishing chrome 😀

Enjoyed the video. I did get a little sad looking out the window at the snow coming down. Still, it won't be long. Thanks for sharing.
Well, it's gray, raining and miserable here today... It didn't last long. :)
Wonderful moments, thanks for sharing!
Another excellent video Bug, keep them a coming 😆
Thank you! I just caught your Collision Debrief video. Great stuff. Chilling to see the photos.

Hey Andy! Thank you!
I'd love to get out there someday. Hopefully in the next couple of years...

God bless you, bro! You know.
Very nice thank you for sharing. It's cool the places you find just riding around. You stop to take a break. And find a destination.
such a classy ride, looks stunning~

When riding are you using a mic in helmer wired to the DJI cam? Your audio sounds great.
Thank you! Not wired. DJI came out with an update for the DJI Action 4 camera that lets it sync wirelessly with the DJI Mic 2. It's a dream setup.
@@BugMotoChannel thank you so much for the info. so do you lav the mic? Or do you some how mount the mic? Sorry, I'm confused, LOL!
