Beautiful footage! It sounds like very soft snow, especially in the higher elevations. I like, when you take the closed pistes, as it is more adventurous ;-) Snowland seems like a lot of fun
@@ChasingSnow Nice! I hope for you to have a long season 🙂 Good for me, too. As i will have some more footage to enjoy of these great Resorts and mountains.
@Aurel Bongers season ends in a few days, most close this weekend and only one left next week. Though I can make many more videos if there is still interest.
I advise you to do the "black wall" piste with a 104% slope (one of the steepest in the world) at Glacier 3000 in Switzerland it's a nice challenge, at least nice video.
Which piste is that as I've covered pretty much everything in Glacier 3000 except the new tunnel, which didn't open this season due to weather. Search my channel for Glacier 3000 for the videos.
At the moment Saas Fee is the highest, 3559m or 14,000ft but next season I'll hopefully revisit Zermatt with a height of 3890m or 15,300ft. Last time I was there I had problems breathing at that height :-)
Hey, I practically ski the whole season but obviously try to keep costs low so choose my filming days carefully, good weather and snow but also buy season passes and van life. It's not as glamorous as it may look but it's a whole lot of fun....
Staying in Saas Grund for 5 days will have 4 days skiing and now considering to ski here instead of saas fee. Are conditions usually good during Christmas? We are family with 2 children and middle station looks perfect for kids
One can never be certain, but I think conditions will be good this season. It's easy to get to Saas-Fee from Saas-Grumd. There are regular buses, and also, you have Saas-Almagell nearby, a smaller family resort. You can check my videos on that one... Hope that helps...

Yes, we have been getting a lot of fresh snow late this season in the higher parts so quite happy about that.

@@ChasingSnow That is sad, as your alpine videos really cure my itchy feet. Do you have some unshown footage, that you can release over the summer?
@Aurel Bongers I have plenty of footage. After ski season, I was thinking, once a video reaches 500 legitimate views, I'll release the next one...

Great scenery and some fun runs. Getting awfully brown, though. Which resort among those you frequent has the highest elevation?

@@ChasingSnow Air regulations require pilots to use oxygen above 10,000 feet. Maybe there's a reason.
Mate, have you won the lottery?😂
How do you go to so many resorts? 😮
I need to know, I can't take it.😢🙏🏾😅

@@ChasingSnow Ohhh 👍 fair enough.
At least you're doing it though.😊
You just need a way to make money remotely. If only it was that easy. 🤔
@David Jones yes, that's one of the purposes of this channel, hopefully one day it will support my ski season.
