Man do i hate Livingston. He comes in and gets a wicket out of nowhere almost every single time and that changes the course of the game.
He comes when there is a pressure on the batting side to accelerate the runrate and they automatically target him thinking he is a part timer and that’s how he gets wickets in the most crucial moments.

It was a very strange innings from Pooran. In the IPL you see him striking at 250 and sometimes 300. The match is happening in WI so him and the Windies should have known 180 is below par on this surface and they played it safe except for their captain.

I fancied WI for this tournament. I’m not saying they can’t go on to glory but, as an England fan I went to bed with WI on 100+ off 12 for 1.
I expected a chase of 200+., England jitters carried over from the group stage. Awoke to an England win at a canter.
Sometimes the numbers give a very false image: going for 8s/9s on a decent pitch is no more than par. We still look to the wickets column.
As an England fan, shout out for Adil. We all love Moeen because of all he’s done across all formats. Adil playing only white ball goes under the radar. But like Mo he’s been a fine servant to England 🏴 cricket and has the trophies to show for it.
I also agree with you guys: I had a question mark over Jonny B after ICC ODI WC & India Test series. Whatever happens in this WC I’m a little worried of what we’ll get in this summer’s Test series. Matthew Mott’s reputation has gone through the wringer recently. Now, I think England could out-muscle any team and his stock will rise.
Not a big white ball fan (County Championship starts on Sunday; CANNOT WAIT). I quite like our domestic 50 over tournament because it’s a focus on youth (the ludicrous 💯 holds the big guns back: as a Hampshire fan James Vince’s absence is conspicuous). Loving your work, Graders. Faced a Grade cricket pace bowler in a Services league. He was attached to a submarine base (HMS Dolphin) and I turned out for a Royal Naval Hospital though I was in the Army). I bigged up my abilities as an opener. So I opened. The Aussie submariner was quicker than anything I’d faced. I didn’t see the first 5!There were mutterings in the field that I was leaving well. The 6th sent my off stump down to fine leg!!

I think Bairstow is support a local bat maker. Kippax are a Yorkshire based bat maker that have been around a long time here in Yorkshire.
I like that they noticed the wind stuff too. Is it really that big of a factor in the Carribean? I've never heard commentators talk about wind so much
it's every game, the full toss that picked up the US batsmen would have went for 6 if it wasn't against the wind. Although I only need to be told once during a game about the wind, not every single delivery
Most of the WI grounds are right beside the ocean so the incoming wind is really a big factor no doubt about that but the annoying thing is that the commentators are mentioning the wind way too frequently.

I remember TGC complaining about the lack of crowd in the leagues stages of ODI world cup held in India in 2023 in Non India matches. Wonder why no such comments are made by them when not even half a staduim gets filled in SUPER 8 stage match played between the hosts and one of the top T20 teams in the world...
