Tobey knows how to make Spider-Man’s emotions real. All the screaming grunts and moaning made us understand the pain of Spider-Man’s life. Dealing with every blow, every fall, every heart of sorrow he felt. This is why people need to understand why we love Tobey maguire as Spider-Man. It’s not your average teen that acts all cocky and tries to become a side kick and makes jokes during fight scenes. Tobeys Spider-Man was the more adult mature side and brought mixed emotions to the character. The struggles he had with love, friendship, family, his enemies, etc. the fight scenes were well executed and required less cgi to them. I need to binge watch the Spider-Man trilogy again bc I miss it so much

Because there are major hints/rumours Tobey will return as his version of Spidey in Multiverse of Madness
Or maybe even a cameo in Spiderman 3
Or hell even a live action Spider-Verse movie
Or the sequel to Into The Spider-Verse

Andrew Garfield's Spiderman was a premature too early when he got his powers and was too overconfident about his abilities and wasn't too experienced about taking responsibility.
While, Tom Holland's is more in a lighter side of things with Iron-Man supporting him and sadly, he got Thanos-snapped in an alternate timeline.
Tobey Maguire's Spiderman is a stand-alone hero without any other outside help aside from that Doctor Strange reference.
There are quite a lot of timelines here and it totally makes sense they would create Spiderverse after the Multiverse of Madness.

Not too experienced,overconfident about his abilities,and not too responsible
Tobey Maguire's Spidey on the other hand is a more mature,responsible,and experienced Spidey and (mostly) knows the limits of his powers
While Tom Holland's Spidey is a bit of a mixture of both while adding some new things into the mix

They made a wise choice in taking a lot of inspiration from the Raimi films for the games story. To date, around 20 years later, both Spiderman and Spiderman 2 stand as some of my favorite films period, and I'd even go as far to say that Spiderman 3 actually did a very good job with handling Peter's character development underneath all the muddled plot. I actually hope that, if we see Venom in the sequel game, they take inspiration from certain moments in Spiderman 3 to emphasize Peters struggle and pain. Tobeys Peter was so grounded and realistic for what you would expect from the average awkward young man from 20 years ago. It also provided a much needed appreciation for the golden age of comics. This game did an excellent job of providing a Peter and Spiderman that pleases all fans with different favorites though.

When he stops the train, I can’t just help but tear up every time I watch it. Brings back so many memories. Spider-Man 2 was the first Spider-Man movie I watched in theatres and it was a birthday gift so it was an experience that I won’t forget
