She's 16 now and an amazing young woman and has fought so hard to overcome and still works hard at overcoming her difficulties. She passed all her exams at school last year and is now at college doing hairdressing (which brings its own challenges) Here in the uk,college is different to your college and is not the same as university, and kids can choose to leave school at 16 after their exams and go onto college instead.

I love how all the kids help out in cooking in some shape or form! I think it's incredible for kids to learn how to cook early on - it's such an important thing to learn especially as they get older so they know how to eat healthy and make their own food! it's also really fun lol
I'm honestly not sure if Luke really said "water", I think it might have been Duncan in the background, just because his voice came from a different direction then I feel like. Either way, I'm still super proud of Luke for how his speech is developing and even how clearly he says "yes" now, it's crazy how fast he's growing up now"!! (Also he did really sync his lips to say water, so even that was an accomplishment in itself hahah...and who knows maybe he did say it after all)

Also, when the word water is said, it sounds like Duncan, not Luke, as Duncan's voice is just a little bit deeper and as @Flora was saying it came from a different direction. That is my debate, if you want to believe otherwise, that's totally fine and I will respect that, I will not debate this topic anymore. It's been fun trying to investigate this though.

Y'all Flynn being thankful for colours totally makes sense and i would say for a toddler saying that it's amazing, the most common type of colour blindness is red and green! So you won't be able to tell the difference when you're phone is charged or not just based on the colour! Good job Flynn!

I am thankful for your whole family for keeping my spirits up and showing me that its ok to go through rough times and that everything will be ok. you are some of my favorite people and I want to say that I am so thankful for everything you do.
Jessica, what you said about being thankful for your family's health is so true. My family is currently going through one of those times where things aren't great. My grandmother has been on Hospice since March and we continually see a decline in her health. However, we are so thankful that she can continue to live with my parents who are retired and can take care of her. I have a work from home job so I can spend as much time as I want at my parents house and we can make any final memories with her that we are able to. She was thankfully feeling well enough to sit with us at the dinner table and have a bite of each item at the Thanksgiving meal. This alone made Thanksgiving so wonderful for us. I hope everyone remembers, even when things get difficult, you can still find things to be thankful for!
Jessica was very insightful when she said she was grateful for not being in a terrible time in life (or something similar) because we all will have those times one time or another so the days we don’t have the dark cloud are always a blessing and something to be grateful for!
I remember my young kids would only eat the rolls at holiday dinners! So much food, I'm sure a lot of leftovers were divided to go. Colleen looked great and so active!
idk if anyone else has noticed this, but i love how helpful and attentive jacob is with his younger siblings. if one parent isn’t around, he’s always there holding one of the babies, i’ve mainly noticed luke. i first started noticing it the most when duncan was younger and how close they were, but i see it even now with luke and i just think that’s so special to see.
I made my Mum's stuffing recipe this year, my mum is going through a lot of health issues and her favorite thing is having a bowl of her stuffing for breakfast after she puts it together. So I made it this morning so she could have her breakfast stuffing.
I love the color of lipstick Jessica has on I want to know what it is. Plus this thanksgiving has been difficult because I just lost my mom to cancer 4 months prior. And it was my dads birthday as well so we went to visit my moms grave and sang happy birthday to my dad and had the cake there.

I love watching these. My family is no where near this close. So if we do have family get togethers they are never like this. I hope one day my future family is as close as you all are.

In the UK stuffing is often made with sausage meat, stuffing (sage and onion) and water all mixed together. Then it either goes into a pan like theirs or made into stuffing balls. Not with a gallon of butter.
Anyone else feel bad for Rue? She’s just running from door to door wanting to come inside and be with her family and it seems like she was just left out there all day. They even let Moose in and left her outside all by herself. 😢 As a dog mama I could never do that to my fur baby. It makes me so sad for her.
She‘a still a puppy and probably would have gotten over-excited and in the way of the food and preparations if she was inside. I’m sure she got lots of cuddles and treats afterwards, don’t worry. It’s better than bei being locked up in a room, at least she could run around.
they might not get along well yet! when i bring my almost 2 year old 75 pound dog to my moms, she spends time inside and out, but mostly outside, just for the safety of her dogs. since she is a puppy, and my moms dogs are older, they don’t have the energy or the patience. and with that many kids, you can’t have eyes on the dogs at all times and the children!
This was a hard Thanksgiving this year for my family with my Grandma in the hospital. I was thankful to hear y’all appreciate being in a good place now and acknowledging it💓 I did pull off my first year being the ring master of dinner well though 😄

In the UK stuffing is often made with sausage meat, stuffing (sage and onion) and water all mixed together. Then it either goes into a pan like theirs or made into stuffing balls. Not with a gallon of butter.

Anyone else feel bad for Rue? She’s just running from door to door wanting to come inside and be with her family and it seems like she was just left out there all day. They even let Moose in and left her outside all by herself. 😢 As a dog mama I could never do that to my fur baby. It makes me so sad for her.
She‘a still a puppy and probably would have gotten over-excited and in the way of the food and preparations if she was inside. I’m sure she got lots of cuddles and treats afterwards, don’t worry. It’s better than bei being locked up in a room, at least she could run around.
they might not get along well yet! when i bring my almost 2 year old 75 pound dog to my moms, she spends time inside and out, but mostly outside, just for the safety of her dogs. since she is a puppy, and my moms dogs are older, they don’t have the energy or the patience. and with that many kids, you can’t have eyes on the dogs at all times and the children!

We have Thanksgiving at dinner time every year. So around 6-6:30 since lots of family works. And usually get out at 5-5:30
