The Warning are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico, currently ages 24, 22 and 19. They are celebrating 10 years as on stage performers. They just released a new song "S!CK" which will likely be on the upcoming 4th album. I love every song from their first 3 albums and have seen them live 4 times.
They played 22 songs at this Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert and every song is a gem. This concert is their best produced and best sounding in my humble opinion.
The harmonies are their 4th instrument. They just came off the Carnival ShipRocked cruise and will be playing a couple of festivals in Mexico before heading to Europe in April. Still waiting and hoping for an announcement of a US tour. 😎👍
The president of Lava Records caught their live show at the Mercury Lounge in NYC and signed 'em up! As you can see...not a tough decision. Great reaction! 🙌🤘🏻
What a marvelous band.. Thanks for coming back to see more... This show is the best concert I've seen in many years.. They all sing.. The drummer recently won 2023 Rock Drummer of The Year from the Drumeo Awards.. 🤘🎶☮️
You might want to save or bookmark this comment... you may want to refer to it later 😜😹 a little history: many of us (shout out to TWA aka The Warning Army!) have been following DPA/TW (Dany on guitar, Pau on drums [like "POW!"], and Ale on bass [like "Ah leh"] aka "The Warning"), three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, since or before their first videos as a band started to hit the streams back in 2012... they are, to many of us, like daughters, nieces, or grand-daughters... DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 3 and 5 for Pau (drums) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) was still pretty much a newborn... they all started learning and playing classical music on piano... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from years past... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... the bass was Ale's second choice for an instrument... originally she wanted to play the harp... they couldn't find anyone to teach her harp, though, so the bass it is, to everyone's delight! her original 4-string bass was a 1/2 size bass which was quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass... not long after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band... today, Ale has several bass guitars but she mostly plays her "Ale's Inferno" colored Spector NS-5XL 5-string... she has been a Spector Featured Artist since she was 15 years old... her NS-5XL bass has a 35" neck on it and she worked with the Spector team to create the coloring of the bass which they named "Ale's Inferno"... Ale has also recently acquired a blue Spector bass that she played in most of their 2023 concerts... Pau is a powerful force behind her drums... in her younger days, she was likened to "Animal", the drummer on The Muppets... she put her entire body into every stroke... it was quite joyful watching her in action... she has refined her form in recent times but she still has a powerful swing and a much stronger sound... some like to say that "she beats her drums like they owe her money!" LOL since she has refined her form, she also doesn't break as many sticks as she used to... when she did break one, she seamlessly replaced it without losing a beat and many times no one ever even noticed... pure professionalism, there... in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... that was two years ago so she has 15 years under her belt, now... Pau also takes lead vocals on several songs while she is playing her drums as passionately as she does... there are not very many singing drummers in the world, today... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old... Dany is a goofball and total guitar nerd... she has numerous guitars in her arsenal... PRS, Rick Toon Spearfish, Manson, Gibson Explorer (gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm), and more recently, a mustard yellow Manson was given to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse, one of the band's bigger influences... DPA/TW have covered several of Muse's songs and more recently they have opened for Muse in Mexico and the UK numerous times... hearing Dany make her Mansons sing is quite the treat... especially when seeing them live... Dany is also the main lead singer for the group... she has quite a range (one vocal coach says Dany can hit D5) and can growl or put gravel in her tone when needed... she easily expresses emotions with her voice and her facial expressions drive it all home while she is singing... Ale and Dany both use Orange Amps to drive their sound... the three of them, together, create a huge wall of sound that flat out pummels you when you see them live... today the girls are 24 (Dany - Jan 30 2000), 22 (Pau - Feb 5 2002), and 19 (Ale - Dec 13 2004)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City (2240m, 7350ft) is higher in altitude than Denver, Colorado (1609m, 5280ft)! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico (540m, 1770ft)... this is mentioned because of the altitude and thin air... when doing strenuous activities, you need more air... you can find their recent Aug 2022 concert on DPA/TW's YT Videos page as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... they may also have a playlist of the individuals so they can be viewed in proper setlist order... the Metropolitan Theater (Teatro Metropolitan) in Mexico City (CDMX) holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)... in 2014 a video of them doing a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman from the "Black" album went viral... they were 14 (Dany), 12 (Pau), and 9 (Ale) years old at the time the video was uploaded to YT because it was too big to email to their grandparents and other family members... they went on vacation for a couple of weeks and came back to a viral video with their father's phone blowing up from all the notifications coming in... they did a few other covers but were also writing their own music, as well... they decided pretty early to not become known as a cover band... so they started releasing their own music... in 2021, DPA/TW answered a call from Metallica to take a song, any song, from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine Enter Sandman as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original... they did this in 10 days, during Covid, with Alessia working from remote in Canada... today, Nov 2023, there are four renditions of Enter Sandman done by DPA/TW... the original true cover that went viral, the OMV of the reimagined with Alessia, DPA/TW playing it live in concert, and the latest one with an added 10-piece string section accompanying in concert... all of the concert renditions somehow come out even darker and more foreboding, bringing almost constant chills to some fans when they hear or experience it... some huge milestones took place at the 2023 MTV VMAs... 1) The Warning were invited to play two of their songs on the Extended Stage... 2) they were the only ones to play that were not nominated for anything... 3) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the MTV VMAs... those are all quite the achievements! for the VMAs performance, there were four takes shot... two 45 second ones for broadcast and two full length ones for each of their songs, MORE and Evolve which MTV has posted to their YT channel... they were also the only ones playing on the Extended Stage to be announced on the Main Stage when their songs were played! DPA/TW have a working relationship with Pepsi in Mexico and have shot several commercials for them... this relationship plus being signed with Lava helped greatly with this milestone in their career, i'm sure... additionally, this summer (of 2023), they were the first Mexican band to play "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" in Germany in 20 years... they have also been invited to play at the 2024 Wacken Open Air metal festival which is also held in Germany... currently they are completing their fourth album and have just finished their "Error" World Tour which has taken them all over the Americas, the UK, and Europe... i still can't believe it has been 10 years! it seems like only yesterday i was watching a very young Pau beating her drums into submission and then seeing videos of all three of them playing together as they started their journey... the rabbit hole is deep and quite enjoyable! come on in, there's plenty of room for more! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA A little copy and paste, but you guys had to know this.
They are the best. They make you feel like you’re involved in the show. I’ve been following the rock world my whole life and have never known a fanbase like this. It’s like going to a Grateful Dead show in the 70s when you knew half the people there, many who traveled from other states to attend. I was too young to be a part of that culture but knew plenty of people that traveled around with the band. The Warning have that same vibe. People make plans to meet at shows months in advance. It’s crazy. In the best possible way.
The Warning is a once in a generation phenomenon. I flew down from Portland Oregon with my daughter to see them live over 2 months ago in Tijuana where they started with Disciple. Ale’s bass kicked me in the chest and knocked me over, then Pau beat me over the head with her drums and then Dany finished me off by slaying me with her guitar and vocals. Once you go down The Warning rabbit hole there's no way out, like Black Holes (which is one of my favorite songs of theirs).🤘⚡

How about a current Rock band that are friends with The Warning? BAND-MAID's Awesome 10 year catalog of over 120 songs will heal whatever ails you. Check out FROM NOW ON and the just uploaded DON'T YOU TELL ME-LIVE from their YT channel. Satisfaction guaranteed.
loved it. you also need to check a band of 15 and 16 yos that was partly funded in kickstarter by The Warning Army called Freeze The Fall and their new single GLITCH. the guitarist/vocalist was inspired by The Warning to start playing. only been a band over a year and have their own sound. Freeze The Fall's song GLITCH is an ear worm.
I like them but they are about 50% music 50% cutesy - if you want pure music from an all-female band with 0% corporate input try Voice of Baceprot from Indonesia - much more dangerous and brave. They have actually endured physical abuse and multiple death threats for playing their music. One second into any of their videos will reveal why. Try God Allow Me Please To Play Music or School Revolution.
Now that you have done the Warning - who are quite good -it’s time to review Voice of Baceprot - many people set these two bands up against each other - I don’t know why - VOB are on a completely different trajectory and may be the most important female band on the planet - and not just for their music - try God Allow Me to Play Music, School Revolution or their insane cover of RATM’s Killing in the Name Of. These gals will destroy you and save you at the same time.
These chicks are no pretenders. The bass player is holding this whole thing down tight. Love it!!
They did that song too.
When the scorpions sang “rock you like a hurricane “…they were singing about “The Warning”🤘

The reaction of both is very entertaining and your opinion and analysis very interesting
Dany, Pau and Ale, they have a formidable innate talent, each one of them.
Innate but with practice taken to the sublime.
Despite their youth, they already have a lot of experience along the way in addition to their great preparation since they were little girls.
Their attitude, discipline and willingness to achieve their goals are leading them to great and well-deserved achievements.
Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra are still on the path to the top, but with too much potential, enough to think that reaching it will be inevitable.
Furthermore, the volume of quality that each of their creations implies is great… and the number of songs that carry said quality is enormous, which for me could be “The Warning label.”
I’m sure that each of their creations is subjected to a meticulous quality process before finally seeing the light…
And not only in the technical aspect, but they have also already shown that they have an exquisite taste for the good music that emanates from them when they become inspired and creative.
Added to all this is that they are surrounded by an excellent family and a fraternal team totally committed to their project...
And they have a fan base, “The Warning Army”, tremendously loyal to them (and exponentially growing too) that is decisively involved in supporting them because they have deservedly earned it for being incredible and surprising human beings.
Knowing this will give you a much better perspective to better value DPA, and maybe you will understand that TW is not just a band of talented young women who make good songs...
No, it’s about music, really about art with the brilliance of a "masterpiece" created and performed by three genius female performers from an early age who have been developing and evolving by leaps and bounds.

Allways everybody have to appreciate each of these amazing rock masterpieces in all their dimensions and then be surprised again that they are creations of those who have wonderful talent but who, due to their age, still have much more talent to develop.
Dany, Pau & Ale are already admirable but their potential increases exponentially as they achieve success.

Second this. FTF is an amazing young hard rock band with killer originals!!! Glitch is great but just the beginning...
Let me tell you that with The Warning you have barely scratched the surface. 😉
