Boys Brigade Drum, Bugle and bagpipe Band parade in Parliament Square Edinburgh

The Boy's Brigade and Girl's Brigade Drum, Bugle and bagpipe band parade in West Parliament Square in Edinburgh on 26 October 2023. They were celebrating 140 years since the foundation of the Brigade.
The people who took part in the performance ranged from members of The Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Brigade from groups in Sawston, Malvern, Harlington, Wootton, Peterborough, Croydon and Manchester.

Wow....they did not have that in my day. Very interesting to see and excellent job of the buglers as this is a hard instrument to master. Its too bad about the weather but they soldiered on. even though soaked. Kudoos to all. Great video Haizhen.

I was there. I was the officer Bugler in the central file 2nd row from the back. My primary role during the performances that we did in Parliament Square and Princes Street Square. Plus the parade along the Royal Mile, was doing the 2nd Bugles harmony parts. During a fair few of the performances I played during the solos and during the repeats as well. Helps me to build up my lip stamina for long parades

Brilliant! great performances despite our typical autumnal Scottish weather. (I know how heavy those drums get when it's chucking it down). Excellent syncronization between yours and the pipe band. Also never heard Will Your Anchor Hold played on the pipes before. Well done guys (and girls) you're a credit to the organization.
