Fantastic video! Great to see the Royal Highland Fusiliers Drum Major leading! For anyone interested the marches played were, 1) 0:07-Atholl Highlanders & Glendareul Highlanders 2) 4:15-Holyrood 3) 6:41-The Brown Haired Maiden 4) 10:39-Scotland the Brave/ Highland Laddie
RHF are now 2Scots .....this is their Pipes & Drums. The Military Band are from The Royal Regiment of Scotland (formerly Black Watch). They play well together but all Military bands are well trained and dedicated. Wonderful to see.

This has to be one of the best videos I have seen of this Band. Whoever filmed it, you did an outstanding job! The history of those streets with all of that beautiful music floating through the air is spine-chilling. Tfs.

2Scots Pipe Band (formerly Royal Highland Fusiliers) and The Royal Military Band (formerly The Black Watch) I believe....Great. Great job on the Video as well, very professional and its so nice to see them close up. Watch them at least 1/week.
Fantastic filming but as I've said on Jim's channel there are tunes that are brass and tunes that are pipe Scotland the brave being one of them but it was still brilliant thank you for sharing
Keep marching til the Royal Mile joins up on the "Miracle Mile" with your strongest Ally Christ the King and his Royal Army from God's Heaven. May God be with all!
Love this, just love this. Just wonderful and I am from the states (U.S.). Hope to someday attend a Regimental Remembrance Day before I leave this world.

Complain to Parliament who decided to amalgamate the Scottish Regiments...now into 1....although the Black Watch seem to recognize the regiment amalgamated to each unit. I get it,we are at"peace" and it is cheaper for the Govt to run (???). Still....maybe this is why so many Scots want to separate.

I recently watched one Scottish marching band video and now UA-cam is feeding me lots of them ... all good stuff. I’m impressed with the skill of the camera person, obviously using a steadicam, but being able to walk at the speed of the march through the crowds on the sidewalk while focusing on the camera shot and not colliding with someone. Do you have a second person guiding the camera person and clearing the way? Greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada.
thank you noble regiment for having liberated our city of Normandy from the Germans I was not born but I was raised in the memory of you and if Russia threatens you we will be there in your meadow to fight side by side
Correct me if I’m wrong, but 2 Scots is a lowland regiment, and they were in trewes on the regular in the old days? From a Yank who at least knows a little about the Royal Regiment.
Hello! The reason the Drum Major leading isn't wearing a kilt is because, he's from 2 SCOTS Royal Highland Fusiliers a Lowland Regiment. In the Army Scottish regiments where separated into two, "Highland" & "Lowland" Regiments. The Lowland Regiments from the South or the Flat Lands of Scotland would wear "Trews" (Not Trousers!) with the tartan pattern of their respective Regiment, and the Highland Regiments from the North or the Mountains of Scotland would wear the Famous Kilts. This is interesting because if you research Trews they're actually part of the Highland culture not the Lowland! Uniforms are also different because of Regimental traditions.
26yrs now foregone in past, historian scholars perhaps still debate, World War or global conflict, how long the battles. In a civilized modern era after the world wars and Peoples outcrys, the horrors of the tides of war 6 weeks perhaps 9 weeks what defines where VICTORY and Victories soon would abound and 325000 adversaries flee regroup to 96000 and yet still flee again.
Increasingly the current fashion calls for military wind bands to accompany regimental pipe bands on their traditional pipe tunes when the two groups parade together. In some instances this formula works well. However, the construction of this parade seems a step too far: it's compromised the integrity of the pipes and drums by folding them into a massed band with the wind band players. Surprised to see this in Edinburgh, but perhaps I've just been slow to notice.
GRAY) STOP COMPLAINING.. I'm Not from Scotland .. It's better than nothing ,, I'm not from Scotland and I'm not Scottish but if you're complaining and saying that's all you got [ that's all you got ] then maybe if you knew how to play an instrument you could have joined them,, You could have joined your country band but instead of complaining you should be proud..,

Love the way they mixed the pipes and the brass. Both physically and musically. Respect to the Royal Regiment of Scotland on their remembrance day.
Brass has no place in a Scottish regiment , leave that to the English and the Salvation Army never seen a brass band lead a regiment into action .

It's 'The Brown Haired Maiden' . I don't know why the timeline doesn't work for me.
Can anyone tell me the name title of the first number piece played by the Regimen in this video
I just pined the comment from Delvin. The first piece is : Atholl Highlanders & Glendareul Highlanders
The real wake-up call ...lots of PEOPLE on streets
I wonder why whoever was in charge of clearing the road didn't clear the obstacles at 9:50?

The horns sound sour and are over-pitched. Bagpipes are best by themselves with a touch of bass and crackle in the percussion.
