One tip that I have heard when you have difficulty getting rid of a sentimental item, is to take a picture of it! Maybe make a keepsake book with your favorite bags, and that way you can still relive the memories while making room! Thanks for such a great video!

I have been collecting designer handbags for 50 years now and I would not part with any of them.....they are all classic styles and colors and I lend them out to family and friends all the time. .....they call it my boutique/museum closet which I love...great collection of bags Josie.
Chloé Nile, I believe you called it, with the wool around the edges... I'd say part ways. You have many other classic bags that you can use for winter. Plus, you didn't really use it very much at all.

Josie, I agree with your decisions about selling the YSL bags. Your classic Chanel bag will address those occasions when you attend a special event like a wedding or a baby christening, etc. Your choices regarding keeping the others are right on, even for the couple of sentimental bags. I agree, the whole idea of clearing out items that you never use do provide room for you to see what we do have and love, even if it’s for dog walking! You always say, cost per wear! Thanks for being so authentic!

Your voice is so soothing! i love that you buy brands other than just chanel/dior/louis vuitton because they are starting to feel like standard issue influencer bags and can be redundant to watch everyone style the same black "classic" bag :)

You collection is beautiful! I was so in love with your Aspinal Dockery bag,💕. I have searched the internet and the only one I seem to find is a similar bag by the brand, but only in croc print. Your bag was luxurious with the smooth leather finish. Are there shops in your area where that bag can still be found by chance. Maybe a site? Just hoping.... I'm in the USA.

A few videos ago now, you asked your Insta followers if they had anything fashion-wise that they needed help on. You used my question (I'm the one who always wears black) and your tips have been so useful. When I shop I hear you saying to buy better so I have started looking at investing into pieces for my wardrobe and slowly looking into phasing more colours and less black into my style. Hi Josie, I think you may have mentioned where to sell your bags. There’s Depop, Vestiaire, Poshmark and Tradesy. I don’t know if the latter two is US only. Each site charge a different commission which is a lot. Better to sell on your Instagram or directly so you don’t have to pay for commission. Also, there are a lot of people who will offer you some obscene price, 1/2 or 3/4 less of your asking price. It’s not a fun process when that happens.

I can see a lovely pin board in your office. Maybe two. A linen fabric framed with wood. One to use as a current vision board (where your going with your career) and another full of career highlights (where you’ve been). Having photos of outfits (with the purses) on display allows you to experience the sentiment, as opposed to being tucked away in an album.
I was wondering are you planning on doing a romantic lookbook this year? Also, if you haven't found it yet, I think you packed your Prada cachier (I don't know if I spelled that right) bag in your bag of summer clothes that you were "saving" for if/when you took a "hot holiday" during the winter... if I remember correctly

I love the shearling edged bag, you should keep it. The two matching bags, the one with the stripes is better, more unique def keep that one. The YSL metallic bag, keep it. Even if you don't use it often it will come in handy at some point.

Where’s your blush Bayswater and pale pink Aspinal?? That one was incredible! I would sell the fluffy chloe, the YSL’s, and the JW Anderson. This is my opinion of it all but you do you Josie:
I think also your pink Prada should go too, because you have that beautiful basket bag and the pink mulberry. Also ditch the velvet bag it looks like a cosmetic bag, and the more plain aspinal! Definitely keep your Nile and sell the V Valentino one.

Quick question.....is the belted bayswater as heavy as the original bayswater because i feel like mine is soooo heavy that I don’t like to put too much in it unless i have suitcase to rest it on. I usually only use it in winter anyway and as a travel bag but i love this belted style so much and the color is beautiful ..have a happy Monday x
Lovely collection but I would say that goers are the 4 YSL, the 3 Valentino but keep the maxi tote, JW Anderson, the Harlow, the 2 aspinals, the 3 strathberry, ( mulberry Darley is nicer), Kate spade, the givenchy, the Kayu filet bag...loved your large Dark blush zipped Bayswater but seems you sold it...good luck With the choice

My fave are Chloe Tess and mini bracelet bag! This is a LONG list of designer bags! I understand selling 30% or most of these. Beautiful collection still! :) p.s. I think you could sell Chloe Nile bag if you still have it. Also I like that YSL clutch, I would buy it if it's still on sale (if I would afford that much... not sure :/) same goes with YSL silver bag, if you don't wear it, get it away! I'd buy black/gold for YSL bag for myself I think.
Oh my gosh I can so relate to how hard it is to part with a handbag. I have a whole box in storage, they are not designer and are mostly worn out but the memories! They represent important seasons in my life. I know that letting the old go allows new to come in. But handbags are the hardest for me to let go of! Sorry I’m no help at all. Good luck!

Keep all your bags. You obviously like them. You never know when you will use one of them. Arrange them nicely, in a spot where you can see as many of them as possible, that way you will use them or enjoy collecting them like art!!
