This is trully one of the best act 1 closers in cirque history. Not only are the orchestrations a beautiful blend of mexican and western instruments, but the singing is beautiful. You can tell Majo (the singer) feels every single word she's singing. She feels the room, the energy radiating from the audience and her fellow castmates/ I also love how the artists themselves are singing toward the end of the number. You don't see that a lot in cirque shows.
It's not for me to disagree, But about half of Cirque shows have much of the cast involved in singing.

Absolutely. Luzia was my first live Cirque experience and this moment in the show gave me chills. So much passion and heart in this show.

Thank you for the translation I understand more now when written than in when I hear it. It's ashame because in speaking Spanish I was almost perfect but years come and not using it enough makes memory fades. I should go teach English in Mexico or Spain (i know 2 different dialects of spanish) and then just immerse myself in the language only using my translator in a pinch.

My second time at a Cirque du Soleil in Orlando, FL last weekend. Truly, Luzia with it's gravity defying stunts and the music was a wonderful expirience. I love this song. The video was a bonus as well. Thanks for posting it!

Same but they Always leave a couple of the best off or different mixes of it, makes you want to see it live. IMHO Never as good as with the original vocalists.

Agree. The version in the album is horrible. It's all electronic and programmed. What's wrong with just putting out a live album?
I asked the cirque du soleil team a few months ago why the live version of this show isn't the actual album, and if I remember correctly, it was an issue with marketing needing to have the album available for purchase on the opening night of the show. So with that deadline, they needed x amount of months to get it recorded and processed and pressed and shipped, so since Luzia was still evolving and growing, they just recorded what they had at the time (or what they thought was best). It's a bummer that this hasn't been re-recorded with the live act, but I'm so thankful that the music crew refined and grew it into this powerful and amazing sound.
@@blermper you are correct and I hate that they do things that way because almost all of their albums have inferior versions of the songs on them. I appreciate the way Broadway does it; releasing the album a couple of months after they open when the final live versions are written and have been perfected. It sucks to not have a soundtrack right away, but I'd rather have a good soundtrack even if I have to wait for it.

Qué comentario más estúpido el tuyo. Vete a manifestar a las grandes industrias procesadoras (de lo que sea), esas sí que desperdician/consumen miles de litros de agua diariamente. Si tanta "conciencia" crees tener sobre el uso responsable del agua, investiga más, antes de venir a escribir aquí. Hay muchísimos sectores a los cuales puedes sermonearlos en persona: sector productivo, comercial, etc, por mencionar algunos, y hasta la propia población; así que, en lugar de ser un ridículo "activista de sillón" ve personalmente con la institución que tenga en sus manos el poder de hacer algo al respecto, no con quienes vienen a disfrutar de una actuación.
Sabemos que todas las acciones cuentan, sí, pero lo tuyo solo da risa, solo mira a tu alrededor, en la vida cotidiana de TODOS los que interactúan contigo (vecinos, familia, amigos), en conjunto desperdician mucha más agua que la cantidad que usa el Cirque du Soleil, hay qué tener criterio.
Yeah, like 500 litres (or even more) of water in one place of the world could save some lives on another continent. Dude, come on! It's riddicilous!
La verdad que muy desafinada toda la canción.. El tema es hermoso.. Pero el que sabe de música esta toda desafinada la cancion
