This lady speaks the truth. This should have millions of views.
Thank you for your support!
I had a bad back spasm for 2 weeks (I on the right side above my hip).. so much discomfort I can’t tell you .. pain would radiate to my leg sometimes to the middle of the hip .. it was like a traveling pain and just after doing these exercises for 2 times the pain has GONE !!!!!! Almost 97 % GONE !!! Unbelievable this is , thank you so so so much 🤗
Works almost immediately. Very effective indeed
My knee had been hurting for many months. I was getting desperate as nothing and nobody seemed to help.
I watched this video last Friday night and have been doing the exercise for now 4 days, 3 times a day... I can finally do squats again., I could not be more grateful! Many many thanks 💕
"...assertions about posture that are not supported by peer-reviewed studies in medicine." NOTE FROM TED. As if 'peer-reviewed studies in medicine' don't come with their own biases, flaws and limitations. She has seen/gotten results. She is a voice to consider and respect for what she has seen and for the people she's helped. Health is complex. We didn't come with a user's manual. This woman is telling what she's seen/learned from the work she does.
We did come with a user's manual. But it's built in
It works. My speech improved immediately and my lower-right shoulder pains almost disappeared. Incredible.
What did you do? I ordered the insoles
This is phenomenal! 🤯 So simple and Free! Wish there were more doctors looking to get to the ROOT of the problems of pain like you! Thank you for this information!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Drs have too many conflicts of interest to give the patient the real story. They made it through medical school and want to make a lot of money. Far too many dentists & doctors are like this.
I’m still grateful. This works!
I saw Annette about 8 years ago as a patient with Parkinson’s disease. My pain decreased by at least 50% and my mobility increased tremendously.
Congratulations Annette
Diane! I hope you are well. Thank you!!!
I've been doing this exercise for 2 days now. I find myself automatically noticing my bad posture and fixing it with no difficulty. And I've realized that I lean on my left side more for the first time. So very glad that I came across this video. Brand new perspective with immediate result. How is this possible? I've had bad posture all my 30-ish years of life.
My eyes are strained during the exercise and I take off my glasses during, idk if it's the right way, though.
Nevertheless, Thank you very much!
So simple, so effective! We need more like that!
Superb. Simple and straight forward. Extremely useful and free. Above all, extremely easy to do. Thanks thanks and thanks a lot. May God bless you
It’s miracle. That really is the ideas worth sharing.
I think another factor is our eyes get so used to reading from left to right with a screen of light in our eyes. I saw this and did her exercises but focused more on looking at my right finger going from right to left. So far it’s helped my headache that always seems prominent on the right side of my head along with pain behind right eye.

Blown up. Amazing eye opener and offering a solution on the same time. I cannot be more grateful. Thanks Thanks Thanks
This is fantastic ... I'm actually suffering with shoulder pain and was looking for some advice ... I'll definitely try this .

I'm so excited having shoulder and neck pain for years tried everything still no changes. Gonna start with this. Hope to God it will stop my pain for good. God bless this lady.
Keep us posted!
Fixing your feet and breathing may help too
Some breath exercice i use
10_15 min a day is enough
2_5 min ( 3 sec inhale nose 3 sec exhale mouth) thats an easy worm up exercice to begin with
5 to 10 min ((1) 4 second inhale nose + hold 5 to 10 second and then exhale nose )
Or (2) 4 to 7 sec inhale nose and 4_7sec exhale nose)
Walking barefoot or on minimal shoes everday ( so you have more freedom and walk in more normal gate and load your hips and knees more properly and also get better proprioception from the foot so your brain will learn how to walk properly and activate the right muscle)
It may take mounths to fixit
If you you aren't used to walk barefoot the first day you may feel some pain because you are using muscles you didn't use before and with time muscles will pull the bones into the roght place ( but it mainly pain or soreness go away in day or two)
This speech was stunning!
But...... How do we find doctors like you? I'm fascinated.
And "Thank you so very, very much.
Respectfully yours.

Amazing, simple and informative. Thank you!
Thanks, God Bless you!
This is the thing I have come across on TEDx. Thank you Ms. Annette Verpillot.
Just brilliant 👌👌👌
I was extremely skeptical, but after trying it really seems to help. It may all be in my head maybe, but its helping regardless. I'm very surprised.
Posture goes hand in hand with proper, full-body, deep breathing.
Wonderful
In Yoga, there is an area of eye excercise & it's is called "Trataka".Trataka includes more than one eye excercise. Yoga is the way to great health. It's a complete excercise and only excercise in the world for body, mind and to increase energy levels. It effects each and every cell in your body. Learn traditional yoga and practice it daily. Practicing yoga daily is really crucial. Only then,we can draw the benefits. And we will see (the good& positive)changes in 3 to 4 years. By then it would become a habit. Make it a habit...make your life great!
Am I missing something? Where does she describe the exercises - for eyes ? Balancing pens?
this ted talk needs more views
Please share it!
Greaaat !!! Thank you
Not going to lie, I was a huuuuuuuuuge skeptic. Like the audience member asked to come up.. My thoughts: all staged. Tried this right after the video, and I swear I could feel myself just align. It was crazy... but it was only for like 5 minutes after the exercise which I did for much longer than 30 seconds. I'm going to continue to do this and see whether or not great posture is possible with continued eye exercise.
Did you end up continuing this? If so, how’d it go?
Thank you. I’m definitely going to try this!
Hi Des, how are you now?? Four months later ?
Hey des 4 months for now how is it working for you
@@Gabrielarielle Did it work for you?

Superb.
Very interesting.
What a connection between bad body posture and deficient eye convergence...and an important one at that; simply exhilarating - Editor, Optometry Today
Thank you so fuckong much
Fascinating! While we shouldn't discount the importance of evening out the hips (musculoskeletal imbalances can be alleviated w/ AIS), I've long been encouraging (and helping!) my clients to improve their relationship w their feet! I do notice how eye focus effects posture (like when the vision is different in each) but these eye Xs are new to me (dif than the basic vision strengthening Xs) and I will be trying them on myself and my clients! Thanks Annette! diane of stretching by the bay
Thanks for your feedback!
I swear to the god , i just tried the eye exercises and my shoulder are align and better posture
I love it. Thank you for your feedback!
Mine too! Didn’t think it would work but it did! Haha
Lol, what's got to do with any god ?
@@truth8307 I don’t think Martin is a native speaker 😊
@@Teal_Seal what do you mean by "native speaker" ? I find it strange that any knowledgeable person today will still believe in any God. Scandinavians and most people from developed places are leaving such belief after they understand that such God is man-made.
Amazing
Great!!
Thanks mam👍
Love you.
Annette I wish you had something as simple as this to get rid of knee feet and heel pain !
She has a youtube channel posturepro
Fixing your feet by walking barefoot and your breathing will help

Often, knee or hip pain is connected to foot problems.the knees & hips can become misaligned if the feet are unstable.
@@obicat you probably nailed it !! I definitely have a foot problem ..
brilliant
Thank you.
She is fit and good looking women. Her knowledge is good.
Any application for people with only one seeing eye? Ive lost vision in my right eye as a child and am wondering how does that influence my posture and what would be a solution to imbalance caused by that? Thank you for knowledge.
I have the same problem and was wondering if she can suggest a way to get around it and still achieve results!?!?!?
A small trick but a giant relief from pain.
Why only clockwise? What if my left hand is the dominant hand? Do I have to do counter-clockwise rotations then?
Thank you very much. Love it.
Q: I wear glasses. Should the exercises be done with the glasses on, OR without them? Or doesn't it matter?
Without
this woman knows what shes talking about
I don't say her technique is wrong or not usable, but look at the pen position before (09:04) and after (11:00) treatment. It's clearly that she put the pen misalign, a little shift to the left side, therefore the volunteer's eyes will tend to shift a bit to the left also and the two eyes look symmetric, but it's not. Do you think the "volunteer" is not real volunteer ? Why she invites the volunteer only in the first row ? You should not do this kind of trick in a TED talk, even your idea is a good one.
I noticed that too. It was obvious manipulation
I think it looked not centered bc of the camera distance and angle. Plus I can see how a plant might be able to control their hand placement, but their eyes? I doubt it. Plus, I just tried it (had same issue). Totally doubtful it would work, but it did haha
Do you have a step by step video of the exercises?
ONE OF THE BEST VIDEO
Wow. I am blushing. Thank you! Please share the science.
She just knows what he's talking about
Wow❤️
Is it just if I m right handed then Mark line on ring index n put that finger rotating on left eyes? We rotate on left eyes is because we want to helped the right eyes that has problem? What if it’s left eye problem, does it mean we still use right hand index(because I m right handed) to put on right eye to do the excercise?
Dear everyone watching, would you like to share this with one friend/acquaintance today?
Annette Verpillot you are great!!! God bless!!!
wow
👌
Wow.
I wish Annette incorporates in how the mandible/suboccipital and stomatognathic system play out in all this
We do work with the jaw in our consultation! :-)
She does work with it I confirm as a client!
Thank you iam suffering from statically pain .my right leg ,left leg 1inch different my body is falling on right down
I would consider that a miracle compared to going to lots of doctors with lots of expense and very minimal or mostly no permanent results.
Why clockwise?
🔥🔥
In India yogic practice this is somewhat similar to Tratak Kariya and designed by sages hundreds of year ago.
Mam request you to introduce few more eye balance exercise please .
Ted talk
Oh my gosh sience is like so amazing this video is so nice
Thanks!
On the pen test, placed on the center of the nose, but on the second test, it was on the right of the nose. And said it fixed the eye. Come on....
Ive got the same problem as this man has. Should I do the exercises more than a minute??
How long did it take to have the man in no pain??
There could be an elaboratedemo of how to do it
I have ptosis issue and its hard to concentrate on finger in order to work both eyes together what if someone has squint
Wow
I wear glasses. If I do the exercise with glasses, the frames of the glasses distract my attention from the line on my finger. If I take off my glasses, I see 5 lines :) What should I do? Thank you!
how long do these effects last, I wonder?
7:05 which one is good posture and which one is bad?
@@uneChaine123 omg I thought left is right haha
