You know all of these boxes came out of the same factory in China and branding applied to them. The factory just takes orders from the various sellers, there is no stealing involved it's just how the factories operated.

In Shenzen China there are numerous factories that the manufacturer Android boxes who have many clients around the world who are just known by a brand that do not manufacture the boxes themselves. This simply put in the order to the factory and get the boxes shipped with the branding on it. For example Skyworth digital, Video Strong, Eleabao and many others. Onn is just a brand name that order boxes from one of the factories.
What's the difference between these Google certified boxes and the normal android boxes like Ugoos and Tox3. Can one download and install 3rd party apps on these Google certified boxes like the normal android boxes would allow you. How is the Google playstore compared to other boxes
@@tvboxstop It's good that the Chinese brothers keep lowering the price of these boxes, Amlogic is a good processor. Also the dimensions of this box are great, I use ONN TV when travelling in hotels, it's a very nice little box. But one thing compared to KIPCKPI KP1 it doesn't have - you can't bring up recent task menu and close open apps (Kinhank doesn't have that either). I take this as a big disadvantage
I suppose that for what it is, it fits the bill that it is designed for. It is a shame that Google likely prevents the addition of more ports in favour of granting official support but the company that once professed great morality died a long time ago.

The 2024 ONN 4k Pro media box from Walmart was marked down to $45 to compete with Amazon at my local store.
Can't say for sure, I would need to review the Walmart box to make a determination

yes, very similar, both manufactured by SDMC, but the Dynalink has 16gb storage compared to the Onn 2023's 8gb

The difference is security and the license to play subscription services in HD and 4K. Also the official Chromecast and Google Assistant feature.
