No one has commented on this video on over a year, but holy shit Bloc Party are so underrated. Silent Alarm seems to be getting a fair amount of praise but a weekend in the city is just a brilliant album.

its like 2 songs in 1 !!!! really luv how they manage to tie in both songs wit the last verse...they give a subtle reminder of how the song was in the beginning and how far it travelled over 5 mins..very tasteful

I'm addicted to bloc party , they're songs aren't so simple as other bands , they are original , with nice musicians and best of all ; superbe effects from russel ;)

Another example for the beauty of the Blocs - the lyrics. You see this kind of behaviour everyday and it´s very sad that we act like that. Especially the Mask of Cool and Indifference is a big big problem i think.
what's the thing about BP? They just never bore you.. some songs have the effect like thore more you hear it, the better it gets.. Other songs have a continuating effect: first time you hear it, you have this amazing feeling of awesomeness and even after four years the song keeps having this effect... ========> Uniform = both!. Thank God for Bloc Party

Man I remember when this came out. They even made a documentary about how this album was produced. This is my favorite album from Bloc Party.

I saw them live two, just yesterday (Amsterdam!) and I must say they´re absolutely fantastic! I huged kele when he jumped off stage!! Love them!
