The search just completed in this video was for the aircraft only, additional searches must be performed for the Engine, Propeller, Components and Appliances to have a COMPLETE search. Also, if you are unable to pull up AD’s for your aircraft, ensure you have entered the CURRENT owner information, example CESSNA is now Textron Aviation Inc. All models can found under the new owner.
Searched "Beechcraft 35"; "Beech 35"; "Beechcraft M35"; and "Beech M35" and got "No results were found; try another search." What am I doing wrong? Edit: found under "current" manufacturer Textron, then under M35.
Michael,Please try the below....I will be updating my video to cover this situation. Thank you for your response. This interpretation of the 51% rule is far different from what has been generally understood by the E-AB industry. Is the FAA issuing a new interpretation on this issue???? This will be a big deal for a lot of builders.
You are absolutely correct. I was trying to keep it under 2 minutes. I should have mentioned that additional searches would be necessary for a complete search. This is my first attempt at this. Thank you for your comment.
@@haysdavid8466- no problem David, It is a good video on a important subject. AD research is not the easiest task so all tips are important. Keep up the good work and supporting safety.

Did the search really return "all the applicable ADs for your aircraft"? What about engine and component ADs?
