a trick i found when I was doing the high and low beam replacement was remove the two screws from the intake and remove it lots of room now hop this helps

Nice! I did install resistors, but unfortunately they don't offer them anymore.
Will this work with the XL. I have an STX package and have the same headlights as the XLT

Did you put a resistor to elimate the hyperblink?? Or its ok not putting a resistor??

Oh man I got these pulled my drivers side out plugged the new one in..apparently it didn't set just right and I think it fell in the blinker housing uggh how would I go about getting that back out of there? I was thinking magnet but would that ruin it?
Might have to take the whole headlamp out... 😳
I replaced the stock turn signal bulbs with Auxito LED bulbs. The outside flashes as normal but the inside blinker is hyper flashing. The LED kit came with a resistor but I'm wondering if the outside bulbs are flashing normally, do I just need to replace the blinker/flasher? I don't want to put in the resistor and then the outside bulbs flash abnormally.
When I put the resistors in the truck for the turn signal bulbs the blinker work normally outside and on the dash

How does this work when the low beam headlight is your DRL? This is what my 2021 Ranger has.
Should work the same... I turned my DRL off in the setup menu. I have to turn on the light for them to be on.

Purchased same bulbs for 2022 Ranger lariat and the switchback doesn’t work. They flash amber for turn signal but not white when not in turn signal mode. The old bulbs have two filaments but they do not light up as marker lights either, even after disabling daytime running lamps in menu and manually turning on lights. Strange. My headlight assemblies are different from yours as mine have led light strips as daytime running lights and projector headlight bulbs. Any thoughts fellow cheesehead?
Yes I believe they will not work with the lariat headlight housing... Because there is no power to the turn signals when the turn signals are not on. They put that power to the led strips on the lariat models

Clue me in on your signal lens being white or clear, on my ‘19 XL they are amber, what trim package do you have? Thanks.
I had the XLT package. The xl package come with a yellow lens from factory.

so there's 3 different headlight assemblies, I set my parks in Forscan to be DRL's and I wanted them to be white, hmm I guess not lol. Thanks for the reply, i enjoy your vids.

Not yet, but i do have them and i will be doing a video shortly.

Now if I could eliminate the the headlights from coming on when shifting into drive.
There is a way to disable it in the settings menu.... but if the truck is Canadian then you can't
@@TheWiscoGuyz ok so my truck was built in Michigan but I think registered in Canada. Has linex from Calgary but I bought it used in Washington lol. Only had 3k on it
@@StormShadowX37 best way to tell if it's from Canada there should maple leaf on the vin tag in the front door jam.. then you know it's Canadian.
